Wowwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww. Is the lack of wrestling knowledge really that low in this thread that people are wondering why someone who was "fired" came back to WWE? Well, firstly I would like to point out that noone is ever "fired" from WWE. If you believe that than you obviously have about the intelligence of a small rodent. Secondly, because nobody is ever actually "fired" from WWE on live television, almost every single one of them comes back after a while. By this I of course mean guys like Stone Cold, Mick Foley, and now Y2J.

Now for my next point, regarding why Jericho returned. Money, firstly. Secondly, because he wanted to get back to wrestling. And thirdly because they're giving him a large amount of creative power over himself and his storylines. And of course he's going to come right in and be inserted into the title picture, because RAW is starting to run out of contenders lately. There's only so many times that you can cycle between HHH and HBK fighting Orton for the title before it gets boring. And Jericho is an experienced wrestler who works great in the ring and on the mic, so who better to throw into the title picture than him quite frankly.

TNA at the moment isn't even a blip on the WWE's radar, so whoever said that they are the reason that WWE brought back Jericho is wrong. TNA consistently brings in about the same ratings as ECW (which is not a compliment, trust me). I hate the fact that TNA isn't bigger in the mainstream yet, and I'm a huge fan, but right now they're not nearly as big of a threat as WCW was in its heyday.

And finally, I hope that a brand merger does occur fairly soon. I really like this "talent exchange" (or "injury filler" as I prefer to call it) between SD! and ECW, and I can see the WWE eventually just going back to a format where every guy competes on every show. I would honestly even be happy with a system where just the champions get to move from show to show, similar to what they had a few years ago with the Undisputed Champion competing on all of the shows.

and P.S.- STONE COLD IS NOT EVER GOING TO COME BACK FULL TIME!!!! LEAVE IT BE ALREADY!!!!

Raw needs to give Carlito and Kennedy a push they need more heel superstar's at the 1st lvl for tittle shots i also think it would be better to bring back DX cause Y2J is here

Thank you wolfie...finally someone to let the steam out =\

ya thanx wolfie, but i think this is intertanment so we know no one is getting fierd but just for heating up the thred ,....btw does anyone knows wher the hell is sabo and the other ecw legends????

I don't think Carlito is ready for a push. His arsenal of moves went to hell when he turned face, and they haven't gotten back to his old style since he turned heel again. I think that Kennedy could get a push, but I kind of have this feeling that they might be waiting until the Rumble to put him into the main event scene. And I'm sure injuring their top guy with a poorly botched spot a matter of days before a pay per view isn't helping his cause either (I am of course referring to him botching a basic arm drag in a match with Cena and putting him out of action for close to a year).

WWE started releasing all of the ECW legends around June, with the exception of RVD who chose to opt out. Sabu got released a few months ago, I guess around June-Julyish. And Sandman was released I think last month, maybe two months ago. Dreamer's the only one left, but I would assume that he's going to go back to his office position with WWE sooner rather than later.

i think Mick Foley should be the GM for ECW and then he will bring his old classic Hardcore tittle so ECW will have another tittle like the IC & the US tittles for smackdown 'n' Raw

I've had similar thoughts along those lines. For ECW to be relatively successful they need a midcard title. But if they bring back the hardcore title I hope they put the 24/7 rule in effect again, because when they had that way back when it made some very entertaining moments. Mick would be a much better fit for ECW too, I really don't understand Estrada as GM

if ecw doesnt bring new and siko wrestlers soon they will be down the drain, caz now raw is getting more intersting then ever after the return of Y2J.but i dont know about smackdown it looks like their isnt somthe that you wanna look fowerd to watch, exept the hevyeight champion

everything revolves on RAW. I think ECW goes 2nd by an inch cuz hardly anything happens in smackdown.

Are you on crack? Smackdown isn't the best show, but it's definitely a lot better than ECW!

Here's how my shows break down in wrestling:
1-iMPACT!
2-RAW
3-Smackdown!
4-ECW

at Smackdown the no#1 contender change quicker than Raw 1st it was Khali then undertaker took his spot and now Edge came back to steal Taker's Spot while on Raw Randy kept strugling with cena till cena injured his arm/shoulder then came HBK after a one night challenge for Triple H and finally Y2J has came back to save Raw but ECW still needs a savior (Mick Foley) and if smackdown needs one it shall be The Rock

Periods are always nice to use when you're trying to get a point across.

So, I see now that I'm going to have to convince you youngsters that The Rock isn't coming back. You see, The Rock is a giant movie megastar now. Movie megastars do not wrestle because it's a huge risk that could potentially ruin their multi-million dollar movie career. The Rock, unfortunately, is no different. Now granted, I'm a huge fan of Rocky, and I would give 3/4 of the WWE roster up just to see him in action again, but it most definitely is not going to happen. He has expressed that he will absolutely not be coming back in interviews and such, and he is even going as far as changing his name on movies back to Dwyane Johnson and dropping the whole Rock thing period. So please, let's not start a big discussion on The Rock coming back (like a certain individual that couldn't let Stone Cold go). It's annoying.

Oh, and they definitely won't be making a "savior" for every show. If you had any knowledge of Jericho and his history, you would know that in his first appearance in the WWF he claimed that he was going to save it (although it certainly carries a lot more weight with the WWE in the state that it's in right now).

I agree with that completely.

I grew up watching and adoring The Rock, and would LOVE to see him return. But while he's still getting movie offers and making mega-bucks from them, wrestling will be nothing more than a distand memory to him.

Unbelieveably, he's still only 35 years old (youger than both Batista and Jericho, I might add, who are 38 and 37 years old respectively), so there's plenty of time for him to return if he wants to.

yo dudes what the hell is wrong with Edge kissing vikkiy garrero:shocked: and edge shouldnt be the 1st cond. ,,,but Taker sent a messeage to vikki and Edge last friday lool, she deserved it..and ..oh ya does anyone know why finlay helping little Basterd ????? (just let the little guy take it like a man xD)

This is a heads up to all of you who are not using full sentences, poor grammar, etc. This is a serious issue that could get this great topic shutdown. Please improve, or warnings will be issued to the prospective members who do not get the hint.

Good job following the mod's advice and using full sentences. But I'll try to decipher this for the rest of us.

If I'm not mistaken you said something to the effect that The Rock has always and will always be the People's Champ. This is true. Rocky may go down in tim as the best all-around wrestler ever due to his astounding mic work and equally entertaining ring work. He could easily outshine anyone on the roster today (or tomorrow or yesterday for that matter).

Then I think you said that the first time around Jericho interrupted the wrong guy. That is totally wrong. WHen Y2J interrupted The Rock it was an extremely dynamic promo for him, where he managed to manipulate the crowd with his every word. Despite the fact that The Rock out-promo'd him he still cut a classic. Not to mention that that set off a feud that for the next few years would produce some of the best television of the era.

But seriously, way to contradict yourself. One second you're saying that The Rock is going to be the savior of Smacksown and the next you take it all back and say that you weren't talking about The Rock returning but just about his legacy. Well last time I checked, legacies don't save anything. Please think before you type.

And PS- USE PUNCTUATION! DO YOU HAVE ANY IDEA WHAT IT'S LIKE FOR EVERYONE ELSE TRYING TO READ THE GARBAGE YOU POST!?

-He already chose Hollywood. There is no decision to be made.

-My last post took me all of 5 minutes. Seriously, it's not all that hard to punctuate.
