I hope that doesn't mean that Hernandez will be rendered obsolete over that tiem frame. They could easily have him in a couple singles feuds while Homicide is out.

I honestly don't believe anything I hear about TNA contract issues since the whole Senshi thing. I mean, wasn't he supposed to have been released like a month ago? It also seems like they're trying to use Harris a bit more, at least that's the impression I got from this past week's show. I think they should resign him (if he has indeed been cut), make him get back in shape again, and then reform AMW.

EDIT: Ok, nevermind I checked my sources and it does appear Harris is off. Good luck to him being a jobber in WWE.

And also, I heard bigger (much bigger) news in that Big Show may be returning to WWE. I think it would be good, because WWE needs a big man that actually knows how to wrestle.

He had his contract ripped up at the staff meeting, but agreed to continue on jobbing to members of XXX, etc. Hes leaving TNA on VERY good terms with them.

Some WWE news:
Former TNA wrestler Ron "The Truth" Killings was telling people at an indy show he was on last week that he was going to sign the contract World Wrestling Entertainment offered him.

His deal is an $80,000 per year downside guarantee, thus meaning that he will bypass developmental and head straight for the main roster upon his arrival.

Opinion: Good for him. Hes got some talent. Another WWE jobber probably.

The man does have some big-time talent. If they work him right (which of course WWE creative will never do, they can't even get Jericho over) then he could be like a young Booker T for them, a big guy with a large array of athletic moves.
 
So lets discuss the news sets. For those of you who do not know, RAW, Smackdown, and ECW will be HD from now on. Thats why they destroyed the Titantron last week. Should be interesting as the sets been the same forever.

Also, like wolfie1177 said. The Big Show has signed the contract to come back to WWE, but it has not been reported publicly. About 95% sure on this one.

i would like to see the big show back onto WWE, i always thought he was amazing.

who do you think will win the Royal Rumble? if HHH qualifies, i think it will be him. if not, then i think it might be Mick Foley.

i remember Mr Mcmahon was on about HD, but i never knew it was to replace the destroyed titantron. i would like to see the end result as well.

THE UNDERTAKER! His odds are good there going to try to give him a push at Wrestlemania where he might get the belt.
 
I hope Chris Jericho wins at the Royal Rumble against JBL and the rumble itself.

I'm thinking either Taker or HHH will win the Rumble although to be completely honest I'm not quite sure how much the RUmble win will carry this year with this Elimination Chamber match at NWO that is supposed to help set the title matches for WM24.

As far as who I'd like to win, I would really like to see MVP. I think he'll get the WHT at some point this year anyway, but I think it would be cool to give him a Rumble push.

Also, does anyone think that RR will mark the return of Lashley? He's been gone for months now, he's gotta be ready to return, right?

There somehow all going to use the same set due to the cost. The move to HD was INCREDIBLY expensive for the WWE.

WWE Sues Sponsor Of WrestleMania 23 PPV
"The sponsors of last year's WrestleMania PPV, 360 OTC, have been sued by World Wrestling Entertainment for failing to pay sponsorship deal which amounts to $1,176,470." - Source Wrestling News World

360 OTC has also had issues with there sponsorship of the World of Outlaws racing series and NASCAR, so this this not a surprise. Will be interesting to see if the WWE gets ANY of this money as so far it has not turned out well for the others.

So what did everyone think of RAW in HD last night? I thought the new set was phenomenal and as someone who loves HDTV I was really impressed by the difference. WWE shows always seemed kinda blurry to me, but it looked amazing last night.

Only thing that dissapointed me is that the new set is being used for all 3 shows. Like, it's cool that they can customize it now (kind of like they did for the WM23 set), but I just think that all of the shows should have their own sets.

I saw it, I don't have HDTV, I want the old set back. I think the new set looks really really tacky. Just Yuck :{
 
No more Lashley? :( That disappoints me. Oh well, if he preffers a MMA career, I guess there's not much anyone can do about it. God I hope he sticks with not going to UFC. I don't like them for some reason.And if you want my opinion, he'd have to be plumb stupid to ditch WWE for TNA.

Dude, I thought Lashley would be with WWE for a loooong time, he's basically their prototypical champion. I hope he goes to TNA and not an MMA career though, I want to keep seeing him in a wrestling ring.
