First to let everyone know, this isn't a ROM version, it's the real game, playing on a DSlite, and with a GameShark, for my first time.
Ok I just started Emerald and then tried out the GameShark thing. I was curious to do it for the first time.
I first did the warp code and I warped to an island where Mew was, cornered it, and then fought it. So it worked and I closed while fighting it. Then I opened up my GameShark again and did the code where it lets you encounter any Pokemon in the wild in the grass. I chose MewTwo and then in the grass was a level 3 MewTwo.
Then he killed me and I 'whited out'. So I turn off the game again.

I just turned it back on today, and I don't know if this happens for each game. When I walk or move, the people/citizins, if they're facing frontwards so you can see they're faces, their eye dots grow like twice the size and their color shade becomes slightly darker, just until I stop moving, then it's all normal. It's like their whole bodys become outlined or cel-shaded until I stop walking.

Is this how it normally is in Emerald for those who have it? Or what caused it? Or how do I fix it, or even make the whole cartridge reset so it'll be totally new with the opening menu only being New Game and Options ?
And before I did all the codes and then turned off without saving, I saved in my town before I walk up past my mom by the door where shes ready to give me running shoes.

Anyone care to help me out..? :(

LOL Sorry, but I REALLY enjoy it when people cheat and it screws up their game.

I would suggest you do a hard reset on your cart to prevent any permanent damage to it.

Also, if you insist on cheating, you are better off asking your cheating questions in the cheaters code thread that is sticked at the top of this section.

I just checked my bro's LeafGreen game which was never hacked and it was like mine. So I guess that is how it is..?
I didn't play Pokemon for a long time, and I feel pretty stupid now. Phew.

That is not how it is. I have played all of the third generation games and have NEVER experienced that. I also have NEVER used stupid cheating devices on my carts. So, your bro's cart has probably been used for cheating and that is why it is the same as yours.

That is the risk you take for cheating. I would do a hard reboot and play the game as it was meant to be played.

Or you can uncheat the cheat, meaning take the cheat code off, because sometimes that helps

Um no. My brother is 7 and he never ever heard of cheating devices and he's the only one who touches his LeafGreen.
If you play those games on a lighted screen and you look closely, when you move you can notice that the people become outlined a bit until you stop.

Huh, your not serious? DS light has graphic mesh. It dod that BEFORE you did the gameshark and it will ALWAYS do that. believe me, I have a DS Lite and it does the same thing. There's noting wrong with your game, there was never anything wrong with it. Don't worry.

Thank you for clearing that up, i was worried. It does get annoying sometimes, but oh well, atleast it's not messed up. Thanks
