when im logging on to nintendo WFC it says "You were disconnected from the GTS. Returning to the reception counter. HELP ME!

i was looking to trade a pokemon and i closed my DS (by mistake)
when i opened the game i tried to get on to WFC but it says "You were disconnected from the GTS. Returning to the reception counter."

Did you try the GTS CLONE?If u did you must be banned from GTS fot the rest of your pokemon life I read that in some websites that when you're caught cloning you might be banned for gts forever
Um,I don't think you can get banned off GTS.Like, how can Nintendo catch you or even find you out of about a million people? I done cloning for ages but I'm not banned from it at all.

that happens to me to, my link is always full so I think it's just that too many people were on so they boot random ones off to clear it out a bit

the DS server is very small. Nintendo has several servers, all but one are for the Wii.

Erm im not sure i can do a big enough LOL without changing your font. They cannot ban you from the gts, otherwise there would be thousands of people worldwide who get disconnected halfway through and then get banned permanently. Besides, i clone about 4 pokes a day.

It think the IP adress is the one that is banned

As myoko said, it doesnt work that way. Besides, if they banned my IP address I'd just go down to starbucks and laugh in their faces. On top of that they would need to inform you that they are denying you what should be a free service, which they cant really do.

Please dont listen to this moose. It was probably just a bad connection.

happens to me loads and i cant connect for about 10minutes just wait a bit its probally a few people are going onto there internet at the same time or ur connect is a bit laggy

Try asking your parents if you can reboot your router and redo all the wireless ds stuff lol.

i wouldn't advise that, because then that means going into the router to change all of the setting all over again. do you know how much of a pain in the a$$ that is? all you have to do is give it some time. chances are its because at the point in time there's a lot of traffic going into the server and Nintendo just can't accomadate the load.

well, there is a simpler way to do that. To do a "reset" without actually resetting (this should only be done if your computer will not go online either) cut the power to both, then plug in the modem first and wait till it locks up, then plug in your router (and if that does not work, switch it around) this gets the devices talking to themselves properly. And if that does not work, your modem might be in wallgarten.
