Suggestion: Profile Font.

For when I receive a visitor message, instead of having a set color that is the same for every message, we should be able to customize this. On a black background, you get this weird blue color and it is really hard to read. I'm trying to read Strawberry's VMs and it's impossible without highlighting it.

I'd really prefer it to be white or yellow, so being able to customize this would be nice.

In your profile customization, is the text color set under Primary Context Areas? That will override the default font color based on the forums style you're using.

All my profile customization things are either yellow, or black. You both do know, I'm talking about the actual message that I receive. Like if someone VMs me saying "Hey Dude, Sup?" It's the specific message that is blue, but everything else would be yellow, I believe. Look at my profile if I'm having troubles explaining. As well as Strawberry's since she has a black background and it's the same way.

I'm not seeing the problem you're describing. All of your VMs appear yellow on my end.

I'm guessing you are using the "Winter Friends" forum style? Certain forum styles can override profile styles, unfortunately.
