Profile Gradient Effect

Could someone please tell me how to create a gradient effect on my profile? I've seen loads of supporters doing it and I'd like to do it too. :D

Oh wow, thanks! I been wondering the same thing. I been noticing everyone is using a gradient in their profile, and I wondered how to do it as well. Now I know. XD

I guess I worded that a little awkwardly. I'll revise my explanation.

Most that I know of use an image that contains the gradient they want to appear in a repeating fashion. They then match the colour at the bottom of the gradient for the background colour so that it appears seamless.

Ah, I see. I was sort of wondering if it was actually a feature, but I expected you actually need the picture. :/
