KingCharizard, you really need to keep in mind that this is the Drawing Board, not the Showcase. While I agree that he still needs to show a little more progress, I wouldn't really call this thread "premature". In fact, I would say that if you release a demo before you post a thread, then you're late in posting one.

As he wrote in the main thread...
Programmed in C#, using SlimDX. This uses my own Framework that was based off of the original SlimDX Sample Framework but has been heavily modified to match my needs. This Framework applies to all works of mine that involves very graphic user interfaces.
... he is not using RMXP, and he is coding his own framework. Creditting Poccil's Starter Kit doesn't necessarily imply he's actually using it. I suspect he's merely utilizing some of the mathematical battle algorithms or resources from the kit, hence why he credited it

I could see that but if thats the case i see no need to credit poccil's SDK but i guess its his choices... I may be late in posting a thread but I have my reasons why i haven't yet.

Another thing why create a new framework if one already exists, dont get me wrong i believe in creating something to fit your needs but I also believe in if it ain't broke dont fix it. I also believe in librarys and reusing code. I'm sure the kit could be modified to fit all your needs.

And he did say he was using c Sharp and SlimDX or whatever but he also credited the kit so i was confused to which approach he was taking.

Even if he's not actually using RMXP, its still ethical to credit the kit even if he's just using data and equations from it. And while I agree with you to a degree, the kit isn't the be-all end-all; its still quite imperfect.

Agreed... And your right the kit is good, but its far from perfect. I also noticed that ruby looks like it was created from c/c++ and java, and maybe python not really sure though. Alot of the code is easy for me to modify with my knowledge of C++. So I modified the kit to fit my needs, and so have many other people here, the dual screen for example. Thats why if anyone whats to create their own framework I personally think its easier and better to modify the SDK.

Now back on topic, as i said before not really sure what to comment on, but i guess a more mature pokemon route is a new and refreshing idea...

Maybe you should've waited until you had some material to create this thread...
