I looked around, flapping up somewhat higher. As I looked around, squinting my eyes agenst the newfound wind, I saw a new tarp over a new cage.
"Well, I know that someone, or something, is in there."
Landing, my tail whipped at a rock. Then I saw a scientist walk into my cage. He carried a collar, a leash, and a 4-foot leather whip. I cringed as I watched him.
"The park Director wants to see you." He said simply and flatly, with no emotion. Then his face grew a crooked smile.
"She wants to... Explain something of great importance." Moving quickly, he snapped on the collar and leash, then lead me out of my cage.
Several guests asked to pet me, and I let them with a grimace. After a few more minutes of walking and sticky, grubby hands slapping me, We arrived at a large, stone building.
