Meanwhile, safely tucked away in his room at the Pok?mon Center, Teioh found himself rudely awoken, now for the third time, by his grumbling stomach. {Bah, I can't sleep like this.} he said out loud, slipping silently down from the bed and onto the floor. The lights were off, naturally, but a clear ray of Moonlight shining in through the window allowed Teioh to explore his suroundings, not that it helped much. The room was a very simple one, with nothing more than a bed and a small, locked cabinet (devoid of food) for furniture. The door didn't seem to be locked, but turned out to be too heavy for Teioh to push open. Teioh considered his options: the only way to open the door that he could come up with was to blast it with a Psybeam, which didn't seem like a particularly smart thing to do, and the only other exit available was the window. Teioh found this extremely frustrating. What good were his powers if he couldn't even turn a bloody doorknob? Teioh looked up, in his famished state the doorknob, looming a good bit beyond his reach, seemed as overwhelming an obstacle as the factory wall he had reacently cleared. He had had some leverage that time, but there was none to be had here, except for...Teioh's eyes traveled towards the bed It's worth a shot he figured, jumping back onto the bed and gathering as much speed as he could muster.
After a few rather embarassing failures Teioh managed to latch his weight onto the doorknob, holding it firmly between his front paws. With a creack, the door swung as far backwards as its hinges would allow it leaving Teioh to roam. Which way? he thought for himself, cautiously peering into the dark corridor, in case someone had come to inspect the noise. Making his decision fairly quickly, Teioh turned to the left and started walking down a deserted aisle in search of anything edible.
