Pure Grass Team (a test in planning)

Ivee-chan...your team looks KILLER! w00t!

i REALL- *tkeas of caps lock* -y want to see how well your team does, mostly because I'm a grass fanatic.

PS- LOVE YOUR AVIE! Any possible chance you could make me a nice banner? I'm your biggest fan art-wise!

I personally like HP Fire on Sceptile, but that's for NB, I doubt your Sceptile will have HP Fire to play with (but more power if he does)

I don't like you because you were saying how disturbing I was because of the content of my Hitmonchan fan site. But that's beyond the topic. Now, Cradily me, someone.

Yes, Rock Slide is suffiecient. The STAB helps quite a bit, and it's enough to get a DDing Salamence/Gyarados to run away (or a Belly Drumming / Sword Dancing Charizard). It's hillarious when the opponent thinks that he/she can use BD when facing Cradily -- predicting a switch -- and they're KOed so easily in the same turn.

With Emerald coming up with those nifty move tutors and ability to pass on a Pokemon's nature when bred (only works with the female parent or Ditto), I am feeling confident about forming an all Grass-type team. Why? 'cause I like Grass types and people are always saying how they're the weakest type, so I want to prove their awesomeness.

Sceptile, Modest
-leaf blade
-crunch
-thunderpunch
-dragonclaw/some other move

It will be hard trying to earn enough battle points for thunderpunch, but it will be SO worth it. Die, flying types! Maxed special attack/speed, of course. I like modest better than timid. Packs a stronger punch.
no no no, definately go like this @ Lefties Leaf Blade, Dragon Claw, Sub, Leech

Breloom, Jolly
-spore (SO predictable, eh?)
-brick break
-sludge bomb
-er... mach punch?

I may consider making him a sub-puncher. I'm not sure. This is the only member of my team who I actually have. I take pride in Mushfume :D. I know that even with Jolly nature, Breloom still isn't that fast. But with monster attack, may as well kick his speed up a few notches.
go focus Punch over spore

Tropius, Adamant
-aerial ace
-earthquake
-return/body slam
-some other attack that doesn't suck

I always liked Tropius but never trained one. Now that I can breed EQ to it and can control its nature with breeding, my wish becomes a reality! I may make the last move magic leaf and give Tropius the Brave nature. So, anyway, should more ev's go into hp or defenses?
I'm no good with Tropius

Ludicolo, Modest
-surf
-razor leaf
-ice beam
-fire punch, ha!

I guess I SHOULD go with the rain dancing moveset to help the team out against fire types. But the concept of a special sweeping Ludicolo really appeals to me, plus I'm more of an attacker. Perhaps instead it should have rain dance/leech seed/dive/toxic the winning moveset , the boring moveset.

Cradily, ???
???

That's right, I'm absolutely stumped on this sea beast. I want to make him the defensive team member, possibly set up reflect and/or light screen, toxic or something. Substitute may work well. It may or may not have any attacking moves, if it did, then either rock slide or ancient power. This dude is a tank who can't be forced out of battle, and I want to take advantage of that aspect somehow.
Here we go. Cradily @ Leftovers Barrier, Amnesia, Toxic, Rest. ggnore

I am also not sure of the last team member. Either Venusaur or Exeggutor. Venusaur could use the swords dance/physical moves combo, but it's slow. And eggy is a sunny beamer, but hp fire will be impossible to get, plus it puts the team in a fire danger. Maybe Exeggutor with a non-sunny moveset, but then it's limited. Or, be a sneak and use Kecleon :D.
Use Execgutor major Special Attack

I suggest having Ninjask starter so you can pass mad speed and attack to breloom, then spore, if they switch, fpunch them on the switch and make them pay

Alex, you got it wrong. Focus punch over SLUDGEBOMB, because SB does nothing for breloom (Hi common switchins of Weezing/Skarm)
