This may be off topic but i was playing Columessum and I traded my FireRed Jynx to Columessum and I took a look at her and she was Purple but i swore that it was black in GSC.
 
I have always seen jynx in purplr <_<

Well Jynx(the member), you named all the espiodes that jynx was cutted or banned due to the jynx being 'racal' to afriacan americans. All those show, jynx was black colored (like my favorite one, Hoilday Hi-Jynx) expect the Disordry Melee which has a high chance of being show due that jynx is now purple.

Actually, as far as I know, Jynx's Sugimori Art WAS a Black Skinned Jynx, while the updated art was Purple. Maybe they changed the anime style just to reflect Sugimori's art? Otherwise, it's about time they did it anyway. >_>;

Analysis
Purple Jynx

It looks like the political correctness bug has reached Pok?mon in Japan. Jynx can't be in in the Pok?mon Centre in New York, and many episodes with Jynx have not been shown in thre Weatern World. The reason? Jynx may offend people! Recently, Jynx has become more purple, so as to keep with political corectness. Have a look at the sprites in Red -> Crystal and Ruby onwards to see that the difference is also in the games.

I still just mad that they banned jynx because of it's black color skin. When the creators of the Pokemon made Jynx. They didn't meant anything bad when they gave jynx the black skin. They weret being hateful to afican americans It just happen! It just happen to be that black best matches jynx's pink dress. It just happen! Don't they understand!

I loved Holiday Hi-Jynx and I wanted so much to share that with my little brother. But due to the hated and super awareness of people's skin color, that show will never air again.
 
I don't get it. something is a miss about all his shows. Pokemon in hawaii here just you know........is not right..not the same i can't replace why.
