PUSA dub titles for the first five episodes of season 9!!!

    Well today PUSA have release the first five episodes dub titles of season 9. They are as follow

    Episode 423: Fear Factory Phony
    Episode 424: Sweet Baby James
    Episode 425: A Chip Off the Old Brock
    Episode 426: Wheel....Of Fortune
    Episode 427: May's Egg-cellent Adventure!!!

    Just as I hoped. PUSA dub titles are much better the 4Kids's. I like these alot and perfer them over the bad pun dub titles of 4Kids. I like the Chip Off the Old Brock the best followed by May's Egg-cellent Adventure. The others are ok but I noticing they using the character's names in the titles which is something that 4Kids never did. I like that since it a bit more personal but not sure if that a good thing.

    What do you think of PUSA's dub titles?
     
    Heh. There was "Ash catches a Pokemon!" =P Nice to see Team Rocket, or James anyway, get a title all to himself. XD

    I do like the two you like as well. Some of the 4Kids puns were funny, though. XD; Others I didn't get.
     
    I think the new titles look more personal. If the new titles are going to be like this, I might find it better than 4Kids' titles.

    haha! Wheel...of Fortune reminds me of the Wheel of Fortune game show. Will the new episode be similar to the game? I would like to see that. Too bad I don't have cable to see them.

    Pokémon won't be Pokémon without the puns. IMO, these puns like "Wheel... of Fortune" are like totally bad.... Like totally, whats next? "The Price is... Right?" =O
     
    I think there pretty good. I mean, come on, what would Pokemon be with out the puns in the titles? At least these aren't "Pasta La Vista", which was the worst in my opinion. Personally, I think these sounds a tad more Japanese, having character names in the titles.
     
    Dear god, these puns are worse. At least "Pasta La Vista" was a clever way of saying bye on 4kids' part.

    yeah it seems that pusa is going to gain success after a while i hope the dub sounds that are in the series are the same we got used to
     
    I think they tried to stay with the style that was used before as best as they could.

    I like them though. D:
     
    Yes. They are still puns but they are not based on the pokemon that is featured which I like. Some of the 4Kids ones were annoying in my opinion like A Wailord of a Time was one of the worst I have heard.


    Still some of these puns are bad like the Wheel of Fortune. I thought they were going to call that one something like No Guts No Glory since that is the battle with Greata. Still what can you do. I say they better then the old 4Kids ones.

    Yes they do sound more Japanese style by using the names of the characters.
     
    For some reason I was hoping PUSA's dub titles wouldn't have puns...

    But I don't like these any more, or any less then 4Kids's titles...

    They're fine in my opinion. Its the voice I'll have to get use to, not the episode titles.
     
    ...Puns should die a horrible death being used as Pokemon titles. I mean, I wouldn't mind a pun if it were used maybe a couple times a season, or at least in moderation. The one thing I was hoping for about PUSA was that the titles wouldn't be as...punny.

    *shrugs*

    I guess puns are now part of Pokemon, whether we like it or not.
     
    Well sweeties, as long I don't see "Would the real Oak please stand up," I'm happy. XD

    But really sweeties, some of the puns are bad.

    Well, at least they changed "Wheel of Fortune" to "Wheel of Frontier"...but it still doesn't work.
     
    "Sweet Baby James" was the best out of them all...but I did only see that one and "Fear Factor Phony" XD
     
    hmmm. loved the new titles, but of course, I prefered the old dubbing (VAs).. lols
