Query into the definition of insult.

    I was quite intrigued in the ARPG thread when PiroMunkie said "Hey, Mana Lugia, insulting a mod isn't going to ..."

    Now, maybe it's me being an insensitive person, but I'm curious. How is insult defined on this forum, and how does it apply to the post I had made before that in the ARPG thread?

    Any clarification would be appreciated.

    Some people here don't know the difference between an insult, or an arguement which makes someone look like an idiot =/
     
    I never implied anything of the sort. I said expecting everyone from PC to join one single RPG is a retarded idea. Flygon wasn't even close to saying that.

    However, I agree, the wording could have been a bit better. Would "irrational" be any better?
     
    Don't insult anyone, mod or not.

    A mod is no better than n00b101.

    Well, regardless, I guess this thread cleared my concerns, because now that Piro explains, I still don't think I insulted anyone >_> Maybe it's the wording of the sentence that caused confusion.

    Flygon, if I did insult you in anyway, I apologize.

    (And no, I have not marked anyone down as stupid for age or for rep. I think the rep system is abusable to begin with, and I see plenty of counterexamples for the age theory around every forum I go to.)

    I thought this was going just to start into another flame war type thing over the RPG, that is why I thought it would get closed. And, obviously I took what you said the wrong way, and I apologize for that. We all misunderstood each other.

    Sorry about that. But when a 13 year old wants to talk to me (being 18) about being a nub, when I started playing this game at his/her age, I'm gonna get a little angry.

    In any case, I appologize also. And Flygon Trainer, I knew you were a chick. I call everyone "dude" so yeah ??

    sorry ML. it's a good idea and all, but I think that everything's safe as it is. now, a thread in existing RP forums on the other hand, that could be stickied, THAT would be discussable..
