Question about Ash being defeated in Pokémon battles.

Despite that Ash could go unbeaten in Pokémon battles and oftentimes loses in some of them, does Ash Ketchum hates losing in Pokémon battles? And wouldn't take acceptance in losing battles to tough strong trainers...
