4th Gen Question about Ditto?

....Is Ditto breedable? I'm guessing no, but I just want to be 100% sure. On Serebii.net it says that it takes 5000 steps or something for a ditto to hatch, but I swear that they aren't breedable... at least not when I put two of mine together. Do they require a special item of any sort perhaps?

srebii even has that for pokes that cant have eggs......its straight from the game data....no they dont breed with eachother is the answer.
