[Other Question] Question about how debug log works

I haven't used the debug log very much yet, but I will need to start using it as I am constructing a new AI and this seems like the best way to make sure everything is working properly. However, there's one problem with it that seems inconsistent, but I'd like to know how I can avoid it altogether if that is possible. It seems kind of random, but when I open the debug log, sometimes it appears with a scroll bar and sometimes it doesn't. Since I'm having a lot of messages play with the AI, I need it to always have the scroll bar, and it's annoying to have to keep soft-resetting until it appears for some reason. Without the scroll bar, too much text is cut off. You can sort of see what I mean in the attached pictures (the first one is desirable while the second is not).
