Question about the expanded 32mb patch of Emerald + Hex Maniac

    Greetings.

    I've decided to give binary romhacking a chance, and I got suggested to use Li Yun's patch to increase the room in the rom so I could add the things I wanted to. But either I did something wrong or I'm not getting how it works, because when I loaded the modified rom in HMA, while they were clearly changes, I saw no expanded rom to add new Pokémon [PokeCommunity.com] Question about the expanded 32mb patch of Emerald + Hex Maniac
    Also, I noticed the way typing is showcased in the modified rom is... very different at how it is displayed in the unedited one

    Any tips at how can I fix this?
     
    Probably asking in the HMA discord is a good option , something related to your .toml file I can say
