Question about the forums

    I think this question's in the right place, I'm hoping somebody can help me out

    I've been usually able to view the forums without logging in, but recently I have found that this is no longer the case - I now have to log in in order to view the forums

    Is this happening to anybody else? I'm just wondering if this is normal
     
    I take it Steve changed the forum settings to save the server\db from gettgng completely destroyed? That's what it sounds like. If it's true, nice idea. It would have taken me a lot longer to break, though.
     
    Guests are now no longer to view PC due to the fact it was causing a server overload. ^o^;; So, that's why you aren't able to view PC when you're not logged in. ^____^

    If it was a server overload, then why was BMGf loading quite quickly at the exact same time PC was lagging horridly? (They're on the same server, btw.)

    It's not so people will register, it is so guests won't cause a server overload. Typhlozion just said that, If you had read up. XD

    And how is this censorship? It's an attempt at making PC crash less, not anything more.
     
    Perhaps one should make a temporary sticky regarding this "Why can't I access PC as a guest>!>!>?!?!?!!1111" type threads.

    And if there already is one, ignore this post. I'm too lazy to look.
     
    Yeah, Amy is right.
    And guys, you'd normally [so would I] be complaining about the lag. I found it improved while we had guest viewing off, actually. So why are you complaining about our solution to it? ._.;

    Crappeth! So THAT's why my friend couldn't see s thread I was trying to show him here... >.<
    That's kinda sucky... it should be turned off asap if you don't want your head to be eaten by an unknown clown...
     
    Is it just me, or is there no difference?

    We've experienced first-hand that all lurkers will just register when the guest block is enabled, therefore the only thing banning guests does is kill off the spiders, meaning that PC will be sinking further down the Google pages. ;/
