question bout arceus

    what u guys think of the new pokemon arceus in diamond pearl?
    my questions are weather hes the first pokemon or mew is
    and wich one would be stronger in the cartoon if they battle.

    also whos ur favorite :P

    mine is mew since we all know in the anime hes the strongest pokemon
    and can transform into any pokemon and uses its attacks
    unlike ditto who can only copy
     
    Well Arceus is the god of all pokemon, and Mew is the creator/Mother.

    Its kind of which came first the chicken or the egg, except the answer to that is supossed to be the chicken because the chicken is a evolved creature, with ancestors dating back to the dinasour ages, meaning that the first chicken was hatched from another species egg. Yet it could be argued that if the chicken came out of it then the egg came first. Okay WAY off topic there.

    I think Mew was the first pokemon "on earth," as Arceus, being the god, is supossed to live in the Heavens. Arceus would have come first in this state of mind, I think.
    Theres no doubt that Arceus is the strongest, but I'd like Mew's chances, it has more strategic possibilities. IMO.

    My favourite is Mew, because its the best and has a very luvable attitude and perspective on things.
     
    yea , l dunno bout arceus but they always said mew was the first pokemon of all.
    i think that mew would be stronger since it looks all cute but invulnerable.
    mew stood up against mewtwo and i think he didnt even try to win
    so l would like to see a battle between those in the anime
    cuz in the game arceus is stronger
     
    Arceus is the Creator of The Earth, while Mew is the creator of Pokemon, so while both are Pokemon, Mew is older.

    Arceus is much stronger than Mew. It can pwn Mew using one special move called Judgement while it is holding what is called a Dark plate.

    and l know ln the game arceus ls strongest but what u think ln the anime?
    l always thought mew ls strongest pokemon ln the cartoon
     
    Nah, it'll still be Arceus....he'll probably be in a movie...

    If Mew came before Arceus, but Arceus created the earth then where did Mew live before Arceus. I'm thinking they're both from the same time frame.

    In the games its very true that Arceus would own Mew with judgement but on a show basis I think the battle would be much closer. I doubt it would happen though, Mew isn't big on battling, thats why I still favourite Arceus.
     
    Mew Created Arceus who Created the Universe, Over the years Mew became Weak and Arceus kept getting Stronger. Mew appointed Arceus to Watch over the Universe while Mew helped create peace upon the planets. Arceus knew he couldn't watch all of existance alone so he created Palkia to watch over the universe and Dialga to watch over time. After so he created Giratina to watch over the World of the dead. Mew then created all other pokemon, Except for the Legendaries. After that Arceus created Groudon and Kyorge to Control the Land and Sea, Lugia and Ho-oh to protect the Sky and the Sea, The Three birds to Control Fire, Ice and Lightning. He then created Darkrai to control Dreams which failed horribly as Darkrai was tainted by darkness, He knew he couldn't destroy Darkrai without major corruption in the balance of the World, so he created Cresselia to rival Darkrai, to equal him and to stop him. He handed over the World of dreams to Cresselia, He then Decided that he had to balance the center of the planet, and thus he created Heatran. He decided that the World needed a gaurdian to Form the earth better and so he created Regigiggas; Regigiggas created Regice, Registeel and Regirock to seal his throne. Dialga and Palkia then started battling which caused trouble in the world, So Arceus created the Three Pokemon known as Mespirit, Uxie and Azelf which balanced them out. Greater problems arose in the forest and woodlands, So Arceus created the master of the Forest Shayman and gaurdian of the forest Celebii. He then created a pokemon To aid Kyorge, this was known as Manaphy. Arceus decided to also balance out the two other, Grodon and Kyorge, He created Rayquaza to master the skys and protect earth. To dignify the gender of creatures he created Latios and Latias, To fufill the desires of pure creatures he created Jirachi.

    Many many years later, three individuals died in a great fire of the tower in Eruteak, Ho-oh ressurected them as the three gaurdians of johto; Suicune; One who could purify water, Entei; That who could control sacred fire, Raikou; the one who controlled Thunder.

    And that is the story...

    Mew and Arceus were made by a Japanese guy on a big japanese computer. but they turned out to be viruses and started making more and more different viruses called "pokemon". They started making theyre own world inside the computer. Mew made the ledgendary pokemon to make sure the world didnt crash or re-boot while Arceus killed anti-viruses and firewalls. but suddenly the japanese man dropped a cartidge into the computer to try and stop them but the pokemon just stole the cartridge and inhabited it, later on they cloned the cartridge and put them in boxes and shipped them across the world to use in your gameboy so they can acheive global dominaton! so your DS/GBA i filled with an evil virus that wont stop until you buy its merchandice!!! AAAAAAAAAAAAHHHH!!!!! *starts hitting DS*

    well either that or Fallen Angel_Messiah Of Black Roses' idea
