Question, depending on answer, battle? ;D

Okay, so I'm trying to fill my standard pokedex on Pearl, and I'm missing ten Pokemon. Only ten! So my question is, if you see a Pokemon in battle via wifi, does that count as seen in your pokedex?

Im pretty sure that they dont. If you find and fight every in game trainer youll see them all though.

No it doesn't count towards your pokedex.

Any help with trades would be lovely. x__x I don't even want these Pokemon, so I'll give them back if you would like to trade just so I can have the data in the Pokedex.
