me and my friend were playing pokemon and i put out a jungle rapidash and he has a defending fossil haunter. i went to attack him with rapidash's agility attack which reads as; flip a coin if heads, during your opponet's next turn, prevent all effects of attacks, including damage, done to rapidash, his haunter's pokemon power reads; whenever an attack does anything to haunter, flip a coin. if heads prevent all effects of that attack including damage done to haunter. This power stops working if haunter is asleep, paralyzed, or confused

    1. now i started my turn and flipped head to wake up because i was asleep, i woke up and did my agility attack to do 30 damage and immunity for next turn my friend flipped his coin and got heads to stop damage and effects done to HAUNTER, he says that my effect done to ME still wouldent work (the immunity for next turn)

    2. ok so here's our problem. I say that rapidash's effect of his attack does not effect haunter, and therefore does not apply to his pokemon power. He says that even though the effect of the attack only effects only rapidash, that it still qualifies as an attack done to haunter, and therefore is negated by his pokemon power.

So who's right here, my friend or me? Please help.

BTW: there are two different wordings if you got confused on one of them.

Since Rapidash reads, ""All effects done to Rapidash" and Haunter reads
"All effects done to Haunter." So, your immunity works/

Because of the specific wording in this case, the Agility effect works and Haunter does not take any damage (assuming both coin flips are done that way).

I believe that this question was discussed in the Compendium, the official source for all rulings questions, which is located within the Pokegym, link below. Please use TC for all rulings questions before going to the boards, thank you.
