Question on shiny hunting on an emulator

    So my question lies with the fastfoward function most emulators give you. lets say im dual sring for shiny Charmander in leafgreen one on an emulator and another on a real cart, and on the emulator im using the FF function to sr faster and i happen to get a shiny. Is it considered cheated?


    TL:DR is using the speedup option in emulators considered cheating
     
    hiya! im unsure where this really goes, but it definitely doesn't really belong here in pokemon general, sorry. D: so im going to have to lock this.

    maybe ask somewhere in rom hacking?
