I have a quick question. Does using vitamins such as calcium, or proteins in pokemon white still give 10 EV points like it did in the previous pokemon games?

Yeah, as far as I know it's exactly the same as in the previous games.

I've noticed that it doesn't work on any starters. Or has this been the same throughout the series, and I've only just noticed?
