    Hello Everyone,
My friend got from his Dad the WM Decks from 2013.
By playing with them, we have some problems how to play the deck from Ian Whiton...
    bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/American_Gothic_(TCG)

The main problem is, that we have enorm problems,
to get enough energy for the pokemon attacks, because, there are only
4 energy cards in the decks!
We know, that we have alot of draw spells, but even with them, we were not abe to
get enough energy for all the attacks, that we wanted to use...

So is there a thing, we did not see, how to play the deck/ use the Pokemons?
Additional question: How can we use the not colorless attacks,
e.g. Gothorita, which needs beside the two colorless 1 pink energy,
or Shelmet, which nneds two green energy cards???

I hope someone can help us,
since the fun with the other decks is enorm....
    Thanks, Matthias

Basically, the deck is not designed to use the other attacks. It's designed to be a stall deck where you attack with Accelgor's second attack early while you set up Gothitelle, then you send Gothitelle active so that your opponent can't use Item cards and use its attack while you focus on setting up Dusknoir, and after you get a couple KOs with your early game damage, or if your Gothitelle's in danger of being KO'd, you use Keldeo's Rush In to get it into the active spot for free and dish out some more damage.

That deck is a very advanced deck compared to what beginners are used to, and it's a very unorthodox deck. It's meant to get KOs without doing a lot of early damage and without using a lot of energy.
