should any pokémon be allowed in battles as long as they are legitimate?

    Who thinks that any pokémon should be allowed if it is legitimate?
     
    Why wouldn't they be if they were?
     
    just asking for peoples opinions
     
    Wait, you mean not battling according to tiers? If so, then I'm adamantly NO. I do not want to use a UU team against a -beep- Mewtwo.
     
    Wait, Are you asking legit gained pokes? or "legit" hacked?
     
    i mean about the uu, ou, uber, ect. tiers, and if people think that certain pokémon should be restricted
     
    In that case, no. Tiers are there for a reason. If Ubers were allowed you'd see every team sporting a Kyogre+Palkia duo, sweeping everyone. Having tiers allow battles to be more fair. However, you can do battles on the Uber tier, etc.

    Actually, I got randomly challenged on Shoddy and the opponent DID send out a Mewtwo against me. I killed it and the rest of his team except for Magnezone because I got walled. And my last pokemon didn't have any attacks.
