Donavannj, I'm not sure this is what you meant, so move, merge and lock as you like~

Where can you start off? Like I know you can buy some sort of starter pack (of 60 cards?), and then booster packs (of 8 cards each), but where can you get the other cards (Promo and Jumbo cards, right? what are they?)

What is a good place to start, online or not?

Well, you can usually find those extra things in bundle boxes at a local major retailer (for instance, Target or Wal-Mart). For instance, the Mewtwo Collection Box comes with 3 booster packs from Next Destinies (which, by the way have 10 cards and a TCG Online code in them), A Jumbo version of Mewtwo EX, a Mewtwo figurine, and the Battle City promo card.

Most promo cards come in the packs that have more than 1 booster. One thing to note about these is that only the ones that are officially released by The Pokemon Company will actually show the promo card that is included. Most of the ones packaged by resellers will not show you the promo card they've packaged (even though, in my experience, the resellers that sell packages to Wal-Mart or Target do a very good job of making sure they haven't put any fakes into those unofficial packages).
