    Okay ive recently just got pearl like yesterday.
    Now i was wondering what to use masterball on.
    Should i use it on dialga?
     
    This has been asked quite a few of times before. XD The two most logical choices, as far as legendaries are concerned, are Mesprit or Cresselia, as they run away from you when you encounter them, as well as have you play this game of tag with them as you chase them around the world map. The Master Ball would make at least one of those legendaries much less of a pain. Dialga has a higher catch rate, and should be easy to catch. Although...you do mean Palkia, right? Well, same deal.

    But it is possible to catch Mesprit or Cresselia by weakening them slowly, or simply trapping them in battle so they can't run away. You could then also use the Master Ball on a shiny you're afraid of fainting, or it fainting itself. The only time I've ever used a Master Ball was on the Suicune in LeafGreen, as chasing it around isn't as easy or fun without the little Pokétch map. =/
     
    i'd say don't use it on palkia. i caught it when it was not all that weakened with i think my 3rd ultra ball.

    i'd say use it on mesprit or cresslia too, they are the only ones that arent realy easy to catch in the game
     
    i agree with the two before me just bring like 10 ultra balls when you fight palkia and you should get it then use the masterball on mesprit or cresselia
     
    I caught Dailga with..two ultra balls. O_o
    I think you should use it on a shiny pokemon you really want to get, (shiny legendary :P) or use it on a legendary pokemon that you just can't catch no matter how much you weaken it.

    As for me, I'm saving mine. Master balls are just too precious.
     
    Mesprit or Cresselia in my opinion.
    You can always use mean look, but you have to go first. This way, you can just weaken it and keep lowering its health so you don't have to waste the masterball.

    It's always good to save the masterball if you can.
     
    Definetely don't use it on the box legendary, in this game they're fairly easy to catch. Save it for a runner like Mesprit or Cresselia. Of course, those aren't very hard to catch either if you know how to do it (and have patience), so I suggest attaching it to a pokemon and trading it for something rare on the GTS.
