Quick Battle

What happened was he was attacking my Umbreon with a few different Pokémon and not doing too much damage. Hardly surprising when the first attack he used was Crunch. Though he did do nearly 50% damage with one attack. But I kept using Moonlight to regain HP.

Later on in the battle he used Blast Burn with his Charizard on my Togekiss and left my Togekiss with about 15% health from about 90-95%. After I used Roost to reboost my HP, he left and started calling me a cheat. I wish I had recorded it now as I would've had proof that the damage was accurate given the defenses and HP on my Pokémon (they both had EVs pumped into their HP and I'm not even sure how high their IVs are) and the attack stats and moves of his Pokémon.

It's just sour grapes really. And it's a shame because this was only my second competitive battle with a team I've spent the best part of two weeks breeding and EV training and I was doing well, compared to a couple of days ago when I got slaughtered.

First off you never used roost -.-
second it only did like 40% damage on your togekiss when it should of done 90% damage
 
bad call Ice Xenon.

if it were something like a Tangrowth that survived a Blast Burn from Charizard, then you could assume it were hacked. but both Umbreon and Togekiss have a VERY GOOD Sp. Defense stat, as well as a decent Defense stat.

you must also consider the fact that if your Charizard is a legit pokemon that you TRADED for, then it probably does not have good IVs, which ultimately effects its stats. unless you have a +Sp Atk nature with full Sp. Atk evs, then 40-60% of damage to a Togekiss sounds about right.

Thank you, Samson. Maybe Ice Xenon will finally accept that he was getting beat by legit Pokémon now that a clear expert has clarified it.

I agree... even my perfect Attack stat Metagross has trouble with these two, and with Togekiss it's about a 2KO (barely) with Thunder Punch. And I've seen an Umbreon absorb Meteor Mashes as if it were Blissey and Meteor Mash were Special hits. So it's completely possible that a suckass Charizard (which I assume isn't IV bred, as Samson pointed out) would do squat to these two, especially when Togekiss is actually a fairly effective special wall.

I'm always on the look out for hacks... but let's not be too paranoid here.

PS: Legacy, I'll play you! But I'm no pushover, so I expect you to fully prepare! I want a challenge from you! ;)

My Metagross has 405 Attack at level 100, and Thunder Punch does about 40-60% to Togekiss, and Meteor Mash does about 70-80%, so don't think just because a shiny Charizard didn't OHKO Togekiss that the Togekiss is hacked. That's just arrogant.

Haha, I know you aren't a pushover. From what I've seen by browsing through the threads in this area, you're one of, if not -the- strongest player on this board. So I don't think I'll be much of a challenge to you just yet, but I'll be happy to play you in a few days or a couple of weeks after I get a few more battles under my belt, so the speak. Afterall, this was only my second competitive battle ever, and I didn't even get to finish this one. xD

And, now that two Pokémon experts have backed my case, I think I'm owed an apology. :P
