3rd Gen Quick Question about Shiny...

    Hello! I can't find the Simple Questions thread and pardon me for opening a new thread for nothing but I would really like to know this. I reset (completely) my Fire Red in hopes of getting a Shiny Charmander (then to a Shiny Charizard). So that I not waste hours and hours on the wrong way to do it, help :P Can I stand right in front of the Charmander Poke ball and keep Soft-Reseting until I get the shiny or is it something different?
     
    I understood you until Soft reseting. This has been posted time and time again but I will still answer to best of my knowledge. You have to open the Pokeball and check it to see if it is shiny. Very time consuming...
