4th Gen Quite a Few Questions

Okay so I've been playing since Red/Blue and I've been wondring,
1:Why didn't theey bring back the girl from Crystal in HGSS
2:Why Latias/Latios can't breed if they have genders, and in the movie Latias can turn into a girl
3:If EQ hits Dig, Why can't Surf hit Dive?
4:Why are the hats on the male Char in HGSS backwards?

#2, neither can cresselia. I think cause there in love so they have to have genders. But if you breed um you will have a crazy amount of legends

1. Because they didn't feel like it.
2. Always assumed a more brother/sister relationship between the two. :S And breeding five bjillion legendaries would defeat the point of them being "legendaries".
3. Surf would not really affect things underwater, I don't think, because I think the Pokemon rides the wave and it is not necessarily hitting a pokemon under the water...?
4. He wants to look cool.

Because this is a remake of Gold and Silver. Since Kris wasn't in Gold and Silver, they made a new female player character.

2:Why Latias/Latios can't breed if they have genders, and in the movie Latias can turn into a girl
Same reason you can't breed other legendaries...besides mixing anime and game logic together equals massive fail

3:If EQ hits Dig, Why can't Surf hit Dive?
I thought it did. o_0

4:Why are the hats on the male Char in HGSS backwards?
Because it makes him look cool. It was backwards in GSC also if you didn't notice. XD

I am pretty sure Surf does more damage when opponent uses dive?
