The ripple effect and the cripple effect: A OU/UU battle log
Introduction:
I was hanging around at the PokéCommunity Server doing nothing but making alts and kicking them, until Shiningmeganium decided to log on and challenged me to a battle. Having battled Shiningmeganium a few times in UU before, I assumed that the battle would be UU, and thus I loaded my half-way gimmicky yet usually effective UU team made for the Heracross metagame. It became rather obvious early on that Shiningmeganium used a OU team, which may have made the challenge even greater than earlier assumed, yet I felt that this was nothing that my silly team couldn't overcome. The solid, staple OU stall team versus the unpredictable and UU offensive team, who could possibly win?
Key:
This Silver text represents Opposite Day, and his actions yadda yadda etc.
This Dark Orange text represents Shiningmeganium, and whatever he happened to do is indicated with this text.
My comments to what I'm doing etc will be given in whatever is indicated as the normal neutral text color.
Also note that the little chit-chat that happened is not colored in any sort, so it's up to you to understand who said what! :] (hint, no one but me said anything)

The sprites represent the pokemon currently sent out. If a sprite is animated, it indicates that the pokemon in question still has hitpoints left, and can be used for battle, like my Azumarill. If a sprite is not animated, that means that it has no hitpoints left and are unable to battle anymore, such as Shiningmeganium's Uxie. Also, the pokemon that are out at the field will have their health indicated by text below the actual battle, as well as (usually) accurate measurements of their current hp at the corresponding hp bars, barring this one example.

E-belt Azu as a lead is probably the most gimmicky lead I've ever tried. It works kinda like a anti-lead machamp with its incredibly powerful waterfall + a-jet combo, and if you dare switch it focus punches you (yeah, I've made lower ladder ragequit by focus punching oma and cloyster leads as they spike up rofl)
Anyways, I figure that Uxie will either t-wave me or just sr up, (a lot of people t-wave azu for reasons unknown :S) so I decide to just go for the obvious encore and force a switch, allowing me to focus punch the switch-in. Also even though I have Moltres on my team, I can just spin away those rocks with top before it enters the scene, so hopefully it shouldn't pose too much of a problem.

Woooo. I didn't get to set up sr, which is kinda iffy, but on the bright side
aggron gets in for free (and moltres is not sent out! \0/), which means that I can spam head smash at least once to do some serious damage. He sends in forry which I assume is his second physical wall of sorts, of which head smash MURDERS considering how this is scarf(rofl) aggron with a jolly nature. It's a pity that it didn't 2hko though, because that allows him to set up a layer of tspikes that will likely be very bothersome to me since this is, after all, offense – in other words, spinning w/o getting top killed in the process is kinda vital now. Ugh. Also, forry + defensive gyara = stalllll. (makes me wonder why I always choose to log my battles vs stall, rofl)

A rather good sequence of moves for me here, imo. Uxie comes in, and I figure that it means that it'll try to T-wave me, so torterra is a fairly safe switch-in to that. (F*CK off gen V with no twave immunity for grounds >:/ ) Idk why it switched out after using (useless) yawn, but that means free rocks for me, so I'm not complaining. Also, having seen quite a few sub-trans walking around, I decide to be extra ballsy and stay in to scout what happens. (It appears that having encore available really gives you this mindset that "if user x switches in something that can likely set up on you, then they will and they will not go for the obvious kill, letting you encore/use ruining move for them w/o them expecting it", aka what I did right now.

I figure that overpredicting and staying in vs heatran once more simply doesn't compute, and go to the fairly safe switch-in Azu. It protects, which either means that it is simply defensive- or tormenttran. Seeing as azu has "dual" water stab, it should have no trouble with any of that, so the waterfall is fairly assured. Unsurprisingly gyara enters, but with forry dead the rocks are there to stay, so likely it'll have some trouble switching in all the time from now on. Encore was there simply to make sure that it wasn't some sort of bulky DD gyara, so that it wouldn't set up on me. However, he roars once more, and of course moltres gets tombstoned. Considering how I'm using agility > roost, and that it'll possibly just roar again since a switch from my part should be fairly obvious, I stay in once more to air slash it and either flinch it (jirachi flinch chart), or just do some damage before I'm all out.

Moltres goes down with a lot of flames from my part considering how it did next to nothing. Overpredicting didn't do me any good.. barring the fact that gyara is now at rather bad health and will have trouble walling anything after another sr-switch-in. I switch in Mismag considering how it has the advantage over what I've seen from his team (it can ko gyara and uxie with little to no trouble, and can taunt tran from trying to set up). He brings in Uxie as what I thought was fodder, but he tricks a scarf onto me which greatly decreases its stall-breaking ability :/ I kill it, but I guess I'm not the only one that can see where this is going...

Meh. I could've stayed in, but giving up that great synergy with aggron is really hard to justify for the sake of granting a free switch. Also, this mismagius carries heal bell, which will hopefully lessen the pain a great deal on my sweepers if I can manage to spin those tspikes away, hence why I switch. Torterra is also my best choice atm since blissey usually either twaves or toxic once it enters, and w/ torterra already being normally poisoned, carrying recovery (in... synthesis rofl) and the ability to do a rather lot of damage to it w/ eq, it feels like a fairly safe choice. Also I could've tried to predict the switch to something immune to EQ, but DA taught me the hard way that wood hammering a chanse-volution is a really
really bad idea.
(for the record, it did like 70% damage, killed torterra, and since chansey had wish active it got back almost all of its hp. So not doing that mistake again.)

I figured that Gyara would outspeed (and therefore easily rest off the damage) even a max speed torterra, so I decided just to continue healing up. Realizing that I outsped it, however, and that the next turn wood hammer did over 21% of damage, really made me tear out my hair in rage, as I could've KO'd the aquatic long wet thing and be on my way to killing more stuff with torterra as it cannot be burned atm. Sigh. After a few extra turns of stalling I also realize that this is a decent opportunity to meatspin away, but of course roar hits the turn I switch in top. At least aggron gets another free switch-in... and can yet again spam head smash.
