2nd Gen R/B/Y Gym Leader Challenge

In this challenge you try to beat the Elite Four with Pokemon a specific Kanto Gym Leader might use. If you need some ideas this is what I would use for each Gym Leader:

Are you going to participate in this? And what's the sign up format?

I would do this, but are you sure? Why is everyone using a Tangela on their team. It just seems weird to me. I would do it if we were allowed to change the teams a bit.

1. I would participate in it.
2. The criteria for a pokemon being a Gym Leader's Pokemon is if they use it in the cartoon, in any pokemon game the Gym Leader has participated in ( including Pokemon Stadium), or if the Pokemon is of the Gym Leader's specialist type.
3. The sign up procedure is that I find out who is participating, edit the first post so we know who has signed up and the people who have completed the challenge get a special category on the first post.
4. I've thought up of a rule that you must have at least one of your pokemon in your team by the second gym.
5. Everyone has a Tangela because they all have one in pokemon stadium round 2.
6. I did say those teams were just ideas for people who are a bit stuck on which pokemon to use

Day 1
I walked out of my home in Pallet Town, hoping to emulate the team of the Pewter City Gym Leader, Brock and to surpass him. I chose a weak Pokemon called Charmander as my first Pokemon.I battled against my rival and beat him. Then I went to Viridian City and delivered a parcel for the famous Professor Oak. He then gave me a Pokedex and, after buying some Pokeballs I bought a few Pokemon to be used in the short term, trained them to Level 10 and beat my rival again. I then headed into Viridian Forest and slaughtered the Bug trainers there. I then caught a Caterpie and after evolving it into a Butterfree and having it learn Confusion, I went and beat Brock who was quite easy. I then went into Route 3 and beat the trainers there. I reached Mt.Moon and began my emulation of Brock by catching a Zubat and a Geodude. I then put my other Pokemon in the PC, except for my Pikachu and my Butterfree which I still had need of. I went through Mt.Moon, stopped the evil Team Rocket's plan to steal the fossils and then picked up the third bit of my team, in a Helix Fossil. I then left Mt.Moon and entered Cerulean City.
