Over the past few weeks it has felt like death has loomed over the world with a playful grin on its face, taking from us as if it were a mere game.
I am lucky enough not to have lost anyone over these past few weeks however with every bit of news of yet another dead it has been reminded to me of the death of a former classmate of mine.
Kamilah Peniston was shot dead by her older brother 4 years ago today and to this very day she still remains in the back of my mind. She was such a bright child, she could have accomplished anything that she put her mind to.
As the clock ticks over midnight here i am thinking of all those taken from us. R.I.P.
