3rd Gen R/S/E Monotype Challenge

Nice update. I'm slowing down on mine so I don't finish too quickly. D; Lol.

I'll post an update soon, though. Probably not tonight, but soon nonetheless.

I have a little update, but too small of one to really make a full one. I'll update this later with more I've done. Anyway, here's a small update:

- Fixed up my HM slaves and rearranged my party (namely ditching my final Pick Up slave).
- Met Steven outside of Fortree City, spoke with him, and obtained the Devon Scope.
- Did a little bit of training outside Fortree.
- Challenged the Fortree City Gym, having no problems, even with Altaria (shocker, I know); I scored a victory over Winona and claimed the Feather Badge.
- Stocked up on a few things and left out for Lilycove City.
- Fought my way through routes 120 and 121.
- Made it to Lilycove, hunkering down in the pokecenter.

Currently: Doing a bit of last minute training for May, even though I know I don't need it.

Just Obtained the Dynamo Badge! :D
Now, from where I left off:

• I got the PokéNav after talking to the Devon Corp. President, who gave me a letter to deliver to his son Steven
• I got the HM Cut, and caught a Zigzagoon as an HM/Pickup Slave
• Went back down to Route 104 and got Mr. Briney to give me a ride to Dewford Town
• I beat the two trainer in the whole island, and made my way across Granite Cave without Flash (since you don't even need it)
• Gave the letter to Steven and obtained the TM Steel Wing! (that I won't use)
  
• Not satified with my Pokémons' low levels, I headed to Slateport City, beating every trainer available before the rival battle
• I concentrated on making Cono (my Seedot), reach level 21 to learn Synthesis
  
• Went back to Dewford, and beat Brawly thanks to Zina mostly
• Went back to Slateport and decided to change Zina's nickname to Cana
• Then I caught a female Oddish and called her Cali
• I trained Cali until she knew Sleep Powder and headed to the rival battle
• Combusken was a ***** to beat, but I finally downed him through stalling with a combination of PoisonPowder, Leech Seed, and Cono's Synthesis
• The rest up to Mauville was easy, I beat Wally with Cana
• Beat every trainer to the east, south, and west (not north) of Mauville City
• Then I headed into the gym after evolving Cana and Cali, and beat all of the Gym trainers rather easily with them

- Ventured back to Mt. Pyre and traversed to the top.
- After falling down through the floors, I continued to the outside of the mountain.
- Cleared Team Aqua from the top and received the Blue Orb.
- Flew to Slateport and witnessed Aqua stealing Captain Stern's submarine.
- Flew back to Lilycove and swept Team Aqua out of their base.
- Surfed my way through trainers and seemingly endless wild battle until I landed at Mossdeep.
- Defeated as many trainers as I could along the water routes with PinoAB7.

last time, i had barely finished the storyline up until Verdanturf Town, so this time:

• i beat the trainers on Route 111, as well as the Winstrate Family (this was easier than before so I guess I'm doing something good
• went up to Fallarbor Town and to Meteor Falls, not sparing a single opponent (i'm a training maniac, and i hate battling wild pokes, or going out of my way for something :D)
• figured out that there's something going on over at Mt. Chimney
• stopped Team Magma from accomplishing their evil plans by beating the snot out of Maxie
• reached Lavaridge Town were I was prepared to face my greatest threat yet... Flannery
• beat all of the Gym trainers easily using only Cana (who at this point was my strongest)
• and finally went up against Flannery in a battle that went like this:

  in the end I switched out for Cali who poisoned the thing,
  then I just abused Synthesis from Cono and Nature Power for the kill
  Norman the took out the big guns, Slaking (tum, tum, tum)
  Switched in Cana, and went with Leech Seed first
  Then I just Mach Punched whenever I knew Slaking wouldn't pay attention, and used Leech Seed to avoid the Counters
  After this, Norman sent out Vigoroth (who was by far a greater threat), and due to stupidity on my part killed both Cali, Cana, and Cono
  Wana was the one to put an end to the madness, and he destroyed Norman's last Pokémon, Linoone.
• and thus, i obtained both the Heat Badge and the Balance Badge

you could always teach ice beam to your lombre and...hope for the best...

This is pretty good advice, even if it doesn't prove to be the most useful move for Winona. It'll help a lot against Drake in the E4. :3

actually, since lileep doesn't learn a rock move until level 43 (or 48 if it's a cradily), ice beam might be the best choice :\ and i think there's a water stone in the same place where the ice beam TM is, so...

- Challenged the Mossdeep City Gym, coming out quite nicely; I defeated Tate & Liza and obtained the Mind Badge.
- Returned the Meteorite to Prof. Cozmo.
- Did a few other errands, like obtaining Charcoal and Super Rod.
- Returned to the Trick Master's house, completing as many of his challenges as possible.
- Reequipped my team with better items.
- Dove around until I found a cavern wherein lied Capt. Stern's submarine.
- Resurfaced and made my way through the cavern, besting many puzzles.
- Found the legendary Kyogre, still in slumber.
- Fought Archie and defeated him.
- The Red Orb Archie had awoke Kyogre and made Kyogre escape the cavern.
- Returned outside to see Hoenn harassed by heavy rainfall.
- Dove my way into Sootopolis City after collecting some goodies underwater.
- Met up with Steven and Wallace, whom of which led me to the Cave of Origin.

Currently: Making my way through the fabled Cave of Origin.

i haven't updated for a while, but i'm not sure anything important happened. i JUST beat the pokemon league, so that's important i guess. my team was reasonably underleveled, and i ended up using 19 revives and 20 hyper potions...and i only bought 20 of each. it was close.
