hey, guys, random question to help settle an argument between me and Kingo!

Since I'm using an emulator, would you consider using the speed up toggle cheating?

UPDATE:

- Named character Hiro
- Chose Mudkip
- Defeated May on Route 103
- Caught a Wurmple on Route 102. Boxed Mudkip.
- Wurmple evolved into Cascoon.
- After hours of searching, found a Surskit on Route 102.
- Reached Petalburg woods and caught a Silcoon
- Cascoon evolved into Dustox
- Beat the gym trainers with surskit, but roxanne killed me with Rock tomb
- Went to grind. Silccon evolved, caught nincada.
- Beat Roxanne at last. Nosepass lost to Nincada, lv. 6
- Rescued peeko and the devon goods.
- Received Pokénav and Letter. Decided to call it a day

EDIT: Wow... A quick look at the 'dex shows there's only 6 steel types in the game 0.0 This will be ridiculous haha. Is it okay if I catch and use Registeel?

-Went through the motions and named my character Dart.
-Rescued Birch with a Treecko (The best thing about R-S-E)
-Decided to stick with the original name of TREECKO.
-Leveled him up to 11, and stopped in Petalburg for now.

:D Great! Two new players. I'll add you both to the list, and best of luck! As for me, after much training, I beat Brawly easily. I also caught a Magikarp named GRAAAAH!!! and an HM Slave Nincada. I'll put more details up later....

- Caught a male Wingull, level 3 (Colonello, KHR refrence)
- Caught a male Lotad, level 4 (Maracos)

Still just hanging around at Oldale, haven't even fought the trainers on 102 yet. Might try to gain a couple of more levels first before moving on.

Well here's part two of my challenge...
I got a little carried away, I think I've played too much tonight haha.
Anyways...

- Headed off through the Petalburg Woods and defeated the grunt
- Did a quick run-through up to the cave to get TREECKO up to lvl 16 so he could evolve into a GROVYLE
- Beat Roxanne and got Mr. Briney his beloved animal back 0.o
- With a level 21 GROVYLE, I headed to Dewford (Yay Steel ^_^)
- Rushed to Granite Cave upon landing, and scoured the grounds for an Aron and Mawile...
-...Which I succeded in! I named my newly caught Aron Brutality. Yeah, I know its cute, but Aggron's a beast.
- Almost immediatley after a Mawile appeared! I caught it easily, and named it Death (Going for a metal theme here *rimshots*).
- Today must be my lucky day Go Saints! because after a few more steps I ran into this:

Lucky me, and I named it Shiny.

No hacks or anything. What you see is what you get. This made me so happy ^.^ Sorry, Kingo!, but I couldn't let this baby go!
- Saved immediatley, and headed to the center where I deposited Shiny (saving GROVYLE for level grinding).
- Shut down the VBA.

Side note: This happens to be the 2nd shiny bat I've caught! The first was in my Ruby version cartridge (still have it), when a lvl 40 shiny Golbat appeared in Victory Road! I've only had one other shiny experience in Ruby... Pains me to talk about it. About my 2nd run-through of the game, I walked up to Groudon, and you guessed it... He was all blinged out 0_0 I didn't understand the rarity of shiny's at the time, and thus tried to Ultra Ball it *facepalm* Well, it died, and I was like, shoot. Oh well. No biggie.

I once found a shiny Pidgey in a semi-hacked Ruby (it was one of those "every pokemon in one game" hacks), first legit shiny ever besides Gyrados. Caught, stored it, then for some reason never saved it >>


And huh, the images disappeared in the last post I guess Psypoke really doesn't like hotlinking, fixed it now XD

Updaaate~

- Got Colonello to about level 5 or so before finally making it through Route 102. Then power leveled Maracos once the Route was cleared until he finally learned Absorb. Moved ooonn~
- Got to Petalburg, blah blah blah Dad, blah blah Wally, blah blah annoying/delayed capturing tutorial
- Forgot Maracos was still in front when I ran into the rich lady on 104. But amazingly enough he soloed her completely (even with.. that freaking full restore >>)
- ... Solo'd the Aqua member too. (I'm... sorta proud of him ;^; )
- Eventually got out of the forest, totally forgot there was more trainers on the other side.. >>
- Realize 'Nello and Maracos make a horrible duo against another Lotad and Seedot. X_x (wasn't really hard just.. prolonging)
- Made it to Rustboro with everyone by now either at level 9 or 10.
- Soaked up more delicious exp at the first gym, that by the time I reached Roxanne I had 2 level 11s and a 10.
- Roxanne was pretty easy, though Rock Tomb usually ended up bringing my hp down to halfway. I was trying to have each Pokemon finish off one of hers since it was 3 on 3, but the Nosepass to got cheap on Merky and so Maracos had to take him also out instead. But still, Stone Badge geeet~ 8D

At Dewford now. Haven't really done much since most of my time was spent fishing for a Tentacool. Still couldn't find one with a good nature, but I did finally find one with Clear Body at least so I give up.

started the game... got a Torchic with an adamant nature. Lucky, cause i was planing to pump its attack ^^ trained it to lv10 n defeated rival. Caught a Zigzagoon to learn Hm n to get some valuable items ^^. Torchic evolved in Petalburg Woods. Soloed Rustboro City Gym with lv18 Combusken. Won Dewford Town win lv26 Combusken ^^ 10 more lv to lv up. Next stop Slateport City!

Defeated rival 3rd time, reached Mauville City n defeated Wally. Evolved into Blaziken while challenging Winstrate Family ^^. Won the Mauville Gym, solo with Blaziken.

-Get back to Littleroot and received Pokedex , Pokeball and Running shoe from mom(bye suckar).

-Helped Wally caught his first Pokemon.

-Reach Rustboro and beat Roxanne with Shrommly and FirahChick easy.

-Grinded FatFat to lv.18 and FirahChick to lv.23. FirahChick lose the fight with Makuhita again and luckily Shroomly success thrashed him out.
-Delivered the goods to Capt.Stern.

Okay, so, update from me.....
After training a bunch in Granite Cave, I found my team suitable enough for the gym...
I beat all of the trainers, yush, then the big man himself.
I can't remember exactly how it went down...but I THINK it was easy. xD
Delivered the letter, all that stuffz.
Went back to Rustburo for a Exp. Share, which I immediately attached to GRAAAAH!!!
Sailed to Slateport and beat up everyone on the beach, triumphantly kicking sand in their eyes afterwards. :)
Did the Aqua crap in the museum.
Then I trained a whoooole bunch, and did the Trick House.
My Rival fell to the ground for the third time.
Upon reaching Mauville, somethign happened.......
