Ok so I just got my R4 SDHC yesterday and it works fine the only problem is my Pokemon platinum saved once but no matter how much I do when I save it and restart it it is always back to that first save I made. Does anyone know how to fix it?

two things one the real r4 production stooped last year so what you have is a clone second go to your clones website and try updating your firmware and next time buy an acekard

Trimming the rom could be a option but you can update your R4 card with YSmenu that would be the best option for the R4
I have a R4 to it's not the flashcard it is the firmware what is does you need YSmenu that is the best option for R4's https://www.gbatemp.net/index.php?showtopic=97615 That will work:D

I doubt trimming the ROM would actually achieve anything besides making the ROM smaller.
