Introduction

Welcome, everyone to the Rainbow Creek League!
Here at Rainbow Creek, you will challenge Creek Leaders over WiFi, hope to defeat them all, and face the Rainbow Creek Champion.
Sounds like your average Pokemon game, huh? Well, for your enjoyment, there has been one twist added.

Utilizing the colours of the Pokemon, the Gym Leaders will be in not types; but colours.
Coherent to this, your team can only be made up of different colours.
So no two Pokemon on the challenger's team will be the same.

How to Check?

A simple way is to check here

Please check your Pokemon's colour before choosing it for your team.
Some Pokemon belong in odd colour groups, some which look like they are more suited for a different one (e.g. Bronzong is Green, Aerodactyl is Purple).
Also, if a Pokemon is shiny, it is still in the group dictated on the Pokedex. For example, a black Charizard is still in the Red category.

Battle Rules

• DPPtHGSS WiFi only
• OU and below only
• Standard Battle
• Lvl 100 Single Battle (unless stated otherwise)
• Sleep Clause
• Freeze Clause
• Self-Destruct Clause
• Evasion Clause
• If someone disconnects out of spite, or accident, automatic loss (unless opponent agrees to rebattle [and just for the record, W/L/D will be recorded])
• If Creek Leader, you must only have Pokemon with the same colour
• If challenger, you must only have Pokemon with different colours
• Creek Leaders can challenge other Creek Leaders too in order to collect the symbols
• If you believe a dispute may occur, record the battle using the vs. recorder (not required)
• Challengers CANNOT change their team to have an advantage over their opponent. However, I will allow little changes to be made
• If a battle has taken place, both fighters MUST post the results in this thread, using this format:
  
  I [lost against/beat] [opponents name].
  For example, I beat Impo.

League Details

Now, the Creek Leaders are voluntary PC members.
I hope people are up to the challenge of running their own Creek Gym!
There will be 10 Creeks, plus a Rainbow Creek to boot.
However, the Rainbow Creek position is only available once you have defeated at least 7 Creek Leaders.
Also, to pique curiosity, I will add events and other little things to make this league more fun.

If you would like to be a Creek Leader, post here using the format.
If you would like to be a Challenger, post here using the format.
I will keep tabs on all Challengers/Creek Leaders/Events.

Trainer Cards:

Just to keep track of teams, and how many Creek Leaders you've beaten, your team will be designed in a trainer card, which I made myself (it actually looks ok, so don't stress). You may display this trainer card in your signature, probably the best thing to do. The card will look something like this:

Creek Badges:

The Creek Badges are to recognize which Leaders you've triumphed against. Their design is similar but in different colours.
I will add your Creek Badges to your card. DO NOT add any Creek Badges
to your card, even if you have earned them; I will do that.

I understand that, but it's still bad for the leader. I wouldn't want to be forced to run a team of Snorlax or Togekiss, lol. And even then, there is only so much diversity you can run between them all, and lord forbid they run something that walls them.

Edit: Skarmory and Blissey on the challenger's team guarantee wins against both of the mentioned gyms, especially without entry hazards.

I wasn't just talking about Snorlax and Togekiss. I meant combined, Skarm and Bliss wall everything in both of those color categories.

No, because they are just examples. I'm just pointing out one of many things that can completely wall color groups. Someone can just take time and construct a team that has a favorable match against most the color groups considering the majority of the groups are pre-evolutions and generally useless.

Personally, I think you need to change the rules on what the leaders can use. Though I can't think of anything right now that doesn't defeat the purpose of what you have intended. :s
