I think Flamethrower will be helpful than Fire Blast due to accuracy. Then again...I'm not sure if Fire Blast can kill Skarm with one attack.

Imo Fire Blast > Flamethrower and you may want to put a Life Orb on that

with Life Orb Fire Blast does:

HP Damage: 330 - 388
Damage: 98.80% - 116.17%

Without Life Orb Fire Blast does

Damage Damage: 254 - 298
Damage: 76.05% - 89.22%

this is on max EV'd HP / 0 Evs in special defense Skarmory

so id say just put Life Orb on it so you can at least get an extremely good chance of a OHKO on it.
