    ITT: New updates
    Serebii says I was right and you guys had them mixed up.

    Gochiruzeru = goth Pokemon
    Rankurusu = green blob Pokemon

    I'm thinking "Gochi-" refers to "gochikku" (gothic)
    And "Rankurusu" is "ranma" (chaos) + "nkurusu" (homunculus, "homunkurusu") This makes sense because he's a small humanoid figure in a jelly.

    Rankurusu has Magic Guard and is Psychic-type, and Gochiruzeru has a now confirmed move called Magic Room which negates all items. Some say Rankurusu is based on the water bear. If so, then it makes sense that he knows Magic Guard, which protects him from a lot of different attacks.

    "aite no Gochiruzeru..." used Magic Room ("Opponent's Gochiruzeru")

    Well according to serebii it said the Black one is called Rankurusu, go to this link and read the description under that name :) https://www.serebii.net/blackwhite/pokemon.shtml

    Gochiruzeu appears to be based off a Water Bear. A microorganism that can live just about anywhere.

    Rankurusu, you mean @@
    That makes sense because he has Magic Guard.

    Serebii says that Gochi is the green one.

    It's on their newest update on the news page. They don't update their list of new Pokemon as often as the news comes out.

    This is from Pokebeach:

    Rankurusu (ランクルス) is the black / purple Pokemon that looks like a woman; its name partly derives from "chaos." It is a Psychic-type, stands 1.6m tall, and one of its two abilities is Magic Guard, which was previously exclusive to the Clefable line.

    Gochiruzeru (ゴチルゼル) is the green, cell-shaped Pokemon; its name partly derives from "cell."

    Well serebii says that they got the names mixed in their latest update so who is right?

    That's probably because that was based on the scan of Wooguru where both the goth and the green blob were cut off in the top of the screenshot and the text "Rankurusu" fell right in between the two, while "Gochiruzeu" was somewhere above the both of them. Anyway, if what you're saying about water bears is actually true, then it could make sense as Magic Guard protects it from a lot of things (i.e. like how tardigrades survive in any environment).

    Also, the screenshot that Pokebeach neglected to update says "Foe Gochiruzeru used Magic Room" while the green one was the Pokemon the player had out.

    I don't think it;s a water bear... I was obsessed with them for quite some time and I think I'd recognize it if they ever made one but it's still a possibility. I just doubt it would be a Psychic-Type.

    I knew this was the case. ゴシック (Goshikku) means Gothic in Japanese. While the Zeru part of Gochiruzeru refers to cells. Seru (セル).

    I was worried I thought my Japanese lessons were going to waste.

    Great to see people will not only make posts but actually argue their points without reading the posts above them.
    If it says "Foe Gochiruzeru used Magic Room", then Gochiriuzeru is the black one.

    I'm still in love with the green thing and wondering if it will have evolutions.
    Yeah I had to say it a post about the names being corrected a couple times myself *sigh* people should really read others comments or they might sound ignorant to others.
    I can see the green cell having a pre-evolution and a evolution myself.

    Awesome. I finally got Pokebeach to believe me and change their information @@
    Look at their homepage >: )

    I hated Rankurusu at first, but with more information and looks at it, it is starting to grow on me a little. Seems... diabolically cute.
