5th Gen Rant:Why does Prof Aurea Juniper give you the pokedex

Shouldn't it be Cedric Juniper who's main focus of study is pokemon movement pattens over the seasons. Is he making young potential trainers his unknowing and unpaid field assistants by using a pretty face that is his daughter so that the said people will be more receptive into accepting the pokedex to record migration data?

Seeing as Aurea Juniper is primary a historian and not a biologist wouldn't it make more sense to have the player record the historical significance of each pokemon species in relationship to the ever changing region that is Unova?

Also truely wasted potential was grouping pokemon according to time periods where they first appeared in legends and historical events and was evaluated for pokedex completion based off how many of those sets were completed. The habitat list should still be there as Cedric Juniper most likely wants that data for his research.

Aurea Juniper gives you the Pokedex because Gamefeak wanted this job to go to a female, as the previous 4 generations have had male Professors. I really liked that they finally went with a girl, but was disappointed when they actually created another male Professor who wasn't her assistant =/ It was like they couldn't just make a girl Professor on her own.
