Rare Candies and EVs?!

    Okay, we all know that Rare Candies don't help Pokemon raise their stats, but when you're trying to level up a Lv.1 newly hatched Pokemon and you don't want their EVs to get messy in the beginning and have to waste -BaseStat Berries, would it be a smart idea to use Rare Candies to a certain level?
    I mean, does using Rare Candies save EVs? 'Cause if it does, then Rare Candies would be a great asset :o

    Rare candies don't affect your EV's at all, using them wouldn't make that much of a difference if you EV train your pokemon afterward.
     
    Yes. It does not mess up your EVs. All it does is level your pokemon without giving them EVs.

    Since I suck at keeping track of EVs, this'll make my workload just a tad easier :)
