Rare error?

Hello thank you for taking the time to read this. As I was going through my old Pokemon card collection I found a Scyther that has a faint jungle symbol. I know that there is a Scyther that is missing the jungle symbol which is quite common but I've never seen this card before and can't find any information about it online. Can anyone shed any light or point me in the right direction to find out how much it's worth?

Unfortunately a faint set symbol is still a set symbol and would not be considered one of the more rare misprinted Jungle Scyther's out there. My guess is the printer was running out of ink or something. It'd be worth as much as any other, standard, holo, not 1st edition, decent condition Scyther. About $8 to $12.

Bummer, thanks. Well if you want a pic of it I put it on eBay "ghost stamped / gray stamped Scyther" but I think you may be right. That's the way she goes.

Hey man, good luck either way. If you dig up anything else from that old collection let us know (misprinted or not), there's a pretty big bubble for vintage cards right now so ya never know.
