    INTRO & DISCLAIMER

    Hello, and welcome to the Underground, home to PC's mafia hub, dedicated to betrayal, trust, and, of course, murder games. Today, we will be playing a game of mafia, with a twist. However, if you are new to the forums and don't know how to play Mafia, or just need a quick refresher, I highly advise you to check out a guide, fabricated by salt seasoned mafia veterans, and give it a read, it should cover the basics of mafia, and you'll be set!

    Notice! This particular mafia game is based of the musical "Hamilton" that tells the tales of the ten dolla' American Founding Father without a father, if you have an issue about historical accuracy, I apologize in advance, because there will be a lot of inexactness. After all, this is a game of mafia. You have been warned.



    THE ROLES

    Thomas Jefferson - If he wants the dirt on someone, he will get it. Each night, he send one of his to investigate a person of his choosing, he will know if they are honorable or not.

    John Laurens - A soldier and statesman from a wealthy family who serves as one of Washington's aides-de-camp. Alexander Hamilton will always come first in his heart, but Laurens will protect anyone who needs it. If Hamilton is to die, Laurens may offer his life for him.

    Alexander Hamilton - The ten-dollar Founding Father without a father, Alexander Hamilton starts out as a penniless immigrant bastard but rises up in the ranks. He may send out letters during the night and messages during the day. He also has a secret ability he keeps to himself.

    Angelica Schuyler - Eldest daughter of wealthy general Philip Schuyler, fierce, charming, smart & sharp-tongued Her vote counts more than the usual. She has another ability she woefully keeps to herself.

    Peggy Schuyler - She's the youngest of her sisters and is portrayed as an innocent, cheerful maiden. Her vote counts more than the usual.

    Eliza Schuyler – The middle sister, she is such a sweetheart and is more emotional than her sisters. Once per game, she may revive someone from death, bringing them back to the narrative. She had another ability she woefully keeps to herself.

    George Washington - A very benevolent leader, Washington is a man admired for his authoritativeness and leadership. He has a hard time dying, if someone attempted to kill him, he will live for a short period of time.

    Marquis de Lafayette - A French nobleman living in America who is instrumental in obtaining French aid for the rebels, turning the tide of the war in their favor. Once per night, he may choose to track a player to see who they visited at night OR watch a player to know who visited his target at night.

    Philip Schuyler – a general in the American Revolution and an established senator. This guy is filthy rich, once per game he may throw a winter's ball, the party of the century. As a politician, his vote counts more than the usual.

    Hercules Mulligan - An excellent fighter who's very loud, extroverted, and fun to be around. He's the toughest, most rugged member of the group. Once per game, he may shoot of a player which he thinks is dishonorable.

    ??? – he's a poet.

    King George III - King of Britain at the time of the Revolution. His abilities are a secret, only known to him.

    Samuel Seabury – A bishop, and a leading loyalist during the Revolution. Once per night, he may redirect an action by a player to target another player. Come Night 5, Seabury gains a new ability.​
    James Madison – He is very avid at writing that he will use the skill to blackmail people. Once per night, Madison can frame someone or raise the reputation of his peers temporarily.​
    Charles Lee - If he dies during the day, this idiot is going to take someone with him to the grave, while he is alive, he will continue to spread slanderous and vindictive rumors about Washington, when investigated, Washington will come up as dishonorable. He knows identity of the dishonorable men but doesn't communicate with them.

    Maria Reynolds – She's a lustful woman because his husband left her, who knows identity of the dishonorable men but doesn't communicate with them, only seeking comfort in bed, looking helpless. Once per night, she may seduce someone, distracting them from doing anything at night.
    James Reynolds - A manipulative man who knows identity of the dishonorable men but doesn't communicate with them. Once per night, he may choose someone to render their vote useless the following day or force someone to vote for a player of his choosing.

    Aaron Burr - He prefers not let people know what he's against or what he's for. Once per night, he may give free advice to people: talk less, smile more.

    George Eacker - a lawyer and a member of Free Masons, once per two nights, Eacker may use his persuasion and knowledge of the law to recruit a player. Basically, turning them to a member of the Illuminati.​

    RULES & GUIDELINES

    All PokeCommunity and Underground rules strictly apply!

    Day Phases will last ~48 hours and Night Phases will last ~24 hours.

    Posting at night will lead to immediate death.

    Upon dying, you are allowed one deathpost which may not reveal anything about the game. After that, you are dead. Don't haunt the thread.

    Do not discuss this game outside of this thread and GM-created chats.

    Missing two Night Actions or two Lynch Votes will lead to your replacement/death. If you wish to abstain from your Night Action, please let me know.

    You may not abstain from casting a Lynch Vote, nor can you 'no lynch'. RNG will break a tie. Please cast lynch votes in the format [LYNCH] Player Name

    Gogoat should be using a specially defensive spread if it uses Bulk Up, as its Special Defense isn't boosted when it's using the move. It suffers HORRIBLY from 4-moveslot syndrome because while it has a wide move pool, it can't fit in everything it needs at once (coverage, recovery, utility):

    Tyranitar's Sand Stream doesn't benefit everyone on the team. I'd say that Greninja is the better option over it because while it doesn't have Tyranitar's raw power, it does have unpredictability in the form or Protean:

    Ferrothorn is massive Taunt bait right here. Power Whip is stronger and Ferrothorn is bulky enough to afford the occasional miss. Iron Defense isn't worth bothering unless it's being used in a dedicated Baton Pass team:

    -Power Whip/Gyro Ball

    Snorlax is too slow to utilize Belly Drum. This set performed best in G/S/C, where stall was very common, and the power creep made it harder for Snorlax to even use Belly Drum in the first place:

    You're not taking advantage of two of Talonflame's main draws over its fellow early birds: Flare Blitz and Gale Wings. The former lets it hits Steels super effectively. The latter gives Talonflame a way to revenge kill Speed Boost Scolipede and Blaziken by giving priority to its Flying moves:

    I'm not fond of the way you EVed some of your Pokemon, tbh.

    You're wasting away Starmie's excellent Speed. It's better off with Timid and the EV spread I suggested. It's designed to prevent Ferrothorn from OHKOing Starmie with Power Whip while having enough Speed to outspeed Timid Gengar.

    Talonflame's EV spread gives it just enough Speed to outspeed Jolly Excadrill. The 4 Defense EVs are in there to help take physical hits a teensy bit better.

    The EV spread I suggested for Snorlax is meant to have maximum power, let Snorlax survive Outrages from Kingdra and Flygon, with 4 Speed EVs letting it outspeed opposing 0 Speed Snorlax and the rest going into Special bulk to help it take special hits more easily, considering that its Special Defense is lower than its HP.
