Rate My Johto Party

They were all caught in their beginning forms throughout the game, and I have levelled them up as I played through the quest. (they are in order of when I acquired them)

1. Chikorita -> Bayleef -> Meganium (Lv. 46)
2. Geodude -> Graveler (Lv. 43)
3. Mareep -> Flaaffy -> Ampharos (Lv. 51)
4. Poliwag -> Poliwrath -> Poliwhirl (Lv. 44)
5. Murkrow (Lv. 44)
6. Dratini -> Dragonair (Lv. 42)

I am currently at the Elite Four, and have yet to enter Kanto, but this is the team that has pulled me through the Johto region.

Moved your thread to this section as HGSS is not the place for team rates, this one is.

It seems pretty decent to me - decently rounded (although you seem to have grinded a lot to have Ampharos at lv 51...unless that's a typo?) - good variety of types there, and a few are yet to evolve as well so they'll just be even stronger. Certainly should be able to beat the E4, although there's always the chance you'll need to use some healing items along the way.

BTW Poliwhirl/Poliwarth are around the wrong way there. ;p

Since your up to the Elite 4 I'd say your team is pretty good for being that far (:

Although for a good rating movesets would be a good idea

I suggest evolving Murkrow with a Dusk Stone if you have one. And trade to evolve Graveller if you can. Both Honchkrow and Golem are better than their previous forms.

You might also want to get more of your Pokemon in the high 40s if you want to have a better chance against Lance. His strongest is LV50.
