Rate my Layout

    I'm creating a new Pokemon site call PKFan. I've been working on the layout for it for about 5 hours, coming up with style plans and such. I'd like to see what you guys think of it:

    Thanks. I will soon need a Co-owner for my new site, I just need to find a good host that supports PHP and figure out sone stuff in Dreamweaver.
     
    I was very optimistic... until I got past the banner. Seriously, the colors are horrid, the font is terrible, and it's overall too plain. The banner's good though. ^^

    Not bad for a first try...
     
    Heh...umm thanks.. I didnt feel like going into Photoshop for this so I used Macromedia Fireworks. I'm going to add game images and stuff like that on the left navigation bar soon (R/S/E, G/S/C, Webmaster Section etc.).

    absolutily terrible the banner looks good but the black and yellow is really bad. The font is terrible as well try something new not just the colour but also how it is organised
     
    AHAH! My eyes...

    1) The banner is too squished
    2) The colors are yukky!
    3) The scanlines are way too obvious
    4) The text on the banner could be nicer.
    5) There is no 5 I just wanted to have a 5
     
    i think is nice for a site that is just going to open.

    no they don't, almost all the best site, you see now when they open, didn't have good layout, some of them where really awful, and also you make an impact with how good your content is.
     
    I'll try to whip up something better tomarow, I just hope its better than this crap... Since you all hate it so bad..

    We do not hate it, we think it is not good. And if you think that your layouts are that bad, ask someone better to do them for you!
    That's my idea. Try PM'ing me or Sylver.
