Yes. And since this is 3rd Gen. There are no Energy Ballers (=D) to sweep Swampert away.

There are pretty much no effective Grass moves commonly used in in-game.

Swampert can't wall since curse is prone to critical hits which destroy the guy. It can't switch into CBers well at all :/

the defense boost from curse doesn't null the power of critical hits, meaning all ches disregard the boost. that's why defnce raising moves aren't the best.

look im really srry ive been a jerk im just no good at emerald and need a break okay ive played emerald since 2005 but i still cant beat the bf and im getting a little impatient!plz
if someone could give me a good team of pokemon that are catchable in emerald that would be the best!

Thats T - R - A - D - I - N - G

I recommend Claydol or Clefable for a sturdy dual wall.

Dragonite for a Physical Sweeper. (Metagross / Salamence for an alternative)

Gengar for a Special Sweeper.

Thats a Frontier Team and should get you through most of the brains with 3 pokemon

It took you until over 100 posts to realize this? Better late than never I suppose...still, you need to learn more about pokemon in general to beat them.

It's the substitute abusers that make roar worthwhile actually. That and the reversal users with salac berry and all that crap.
