I'm trying to work out a good team... so here are a few ideas!!!

Some pokemon have still got areas that I haven't even thought about, some are same types etc...

Your opinions, suggestions, comments etc would be much appreciated!!! :D

    A few guidelines...

? The Charmander I get from Oak is the 1 pokemon that I will keep in my squad regardless... so I wanna get it right 1st time!!!

? All other pokemon i'll get after completing the game... and if possible will be breeded (and hatched in cool locations - e.g Pichu at Power Plant and so on...)

? Natures have to suit the pokemon either from appearance of from the cartoons... e.g Mewtwo is Lonely, Quiet, Serious not something like Jolly!!! Charizard would be Rash, Serious but not Docile!!!

? The team itself has got to look like a team... e.g all look really big and powerful e.g a Dragon squad look to it... or a cute, small or 'kiddie' looking squad inc pokemon such as Pikachu, Jirachi, Dewgong etc...

    My Ideas So Far

    'Cute' Squad

Possible Pokemon: Charizard, Jirachi (legit), Raichu/Jolteon, Dragonite, Slowking/Lapras/Sneasel, Vileplume/Butterfree/Ariados/Heracross

    Charizard
    Sex: Male
    Nature: Serious/Rash
    Item:
    EV Training:
Moves: Flamethrower, Fly/Wing Attack, Earthquake, Strength/Slash

    Jirachi
    Sex: None
Nature: Calm (both My Jirachi's from Channel have had this nature so I assume it's not random)
    Item: Salac Berry
    EV Training:
Moves: Wish, Psychic, Water Pulse, Areial Ace

    Raichu/Jolteon
    Sex: Male
    Nature:
    Item:
    EV Training:
Moves: Thunderbolt, Iron Tail, Hyper Beam, ???

    Dragonite
    Sex: Male
    Nature:
    Item:
    EV Training:
Moves: Waterfall, Ice Beam, Flamethrower, Thunderbolt

    'Tough' Squad

Possible Pokemon: Charizard, Mewtwo, Steelix/Scizor, Feraligatr, Nidoking, Tyranitar

    Charizard
    Sex: Male
    Nature: Serious/Rash
    Item:
    EV Training:
Moves: Flamethrower, Fly/Wing Attack, Earthquake, Strength/Slash

    Mewtwo
    Sex: None
    Nature: Lonely/Serious
    Item:
    EV Training:
Moves: Recover, Psychic, Thunderbolt, Shodow Ball

Note: As I said on a previos thread I haven't actually started the game yet as i'm trying to get a really cool game ID. As FireRed is going to be my 'God' game I want everything to be planned 1st... I will be rushing through FireRed with Charizard alone until I have got both plates and national dex... currently i'm playing through colloseum, ruby, saphire and leafgreen to put as many pokemon on 'pokemon box'...ready for when I can put them all on to my FireRed (for pokedex, team building and breeding)

    Ariados is not cute... ^_^;

    Charizard
    Sex: Male
    Nature: Timid
    Item:
    EV Training: 252 Sp.Attack, 252 Speed, 6 Sp.Defense
Moves: Flamethrower, Dragon Claw, Earthquake/Rock Slide, Sunny Day/Swords Dance/Dragon Dance

    no Slash here.

    Jirachi
    Sex: None
Nature: Calm (both My Jirachi's from Channel have had this nature so I assume it's not random)
    Item: Salac Berry
    EV Training: 255 Sp.Attack, 255 Speed/Hp
Moves: Wish, Psychic, Water Pulse or Thunderbolt, Calm Mind/Doom Desire

    Raichu/Jolteon
    Sex: Male
    Nature:
    Item:
    EV Training:
Moves: Thunderbolt, Iron Tail, Hyper Beam, ???

DO NOT use physical attacks for Raichu and Jolteon ESPECIALLY NOT Hyper Beam!!!! AHHHH!! Raichu and Jolteon have very very low attack strengths and their defenses aren't good enough for Hyper Beam. Here's what I would do:

Jolteon (Timid Nature +Speed, -Attack OR Modest Nature +Sp.Attack, -Attack)
    EVs: 252 Sp.Attack, 252 Speed, 6 Hp
    -Thunderbolt
    -HP Water,Grass,Ice/Bite
    -Agility/Substitute
    -Baton Pass

Raichu (Same Nature choices as Jolteon)
    EVs: Same EVs as Jolteon
    -Thunderbolt
-Surf (if you can get it)/HP Water,Ice,Grass
    -Light Screen
    -Thunder Wave

    Dragonite
    Sex: Male
    Nature: Adamant +Attack, -Sp.Attack
    Item:
    EV Training: 252 Attack, 252 Speed, 6 Sp.Defense
Moves: EQ, Dragon Dance, Aerial Ace, Thunderbolt

    'Tough' Squad

Possible Pokemon: Charizard, Mewtwo, Steelix/Scizor, Feraligatr, Nidoking, Tyranitar

    Charizard
    Sex: Male
    Nature: Serious/Rash
    Item:
    EV Training:
Moves: Flamethrower, Fly/Wing Attack, Earthquake, Strength/Slash
Same Charizard from the "cute" squad.

    Mewtwo
    Sex: None
    Nature: Lonely/Serious Modest!
    Item:
    EV Training: 252 Sp.Attack, 252 Speed, 6 Sp.Defense
Moves: Recover, Psychic, Thunderbolt, Ice Beam/Flamethrower

    Here are more MS:

    Steelix (Impish/Adamant Nature)
    EVs: 252 Attack, 252 Defense, 6 Sp.Defense
    -Rock Slide/Iron Tail
    -EQ
    -Explosion
    -Toxic?

    Scizor (Impish/Adamant/Jolly Nature)
    EVs: 252 Attack, 252 Defense, 6 Speed
    -Silver Wind
    -Baton Pass
    -Swords Dance/Agility
    -Steel Wing

    FERALIGATR!!!!! :D (Adamant/Lonely Nature)
    EVs: 252 Attack, 252 Sp.Defense, 6 Speed
    -Surf
    -EQ
    -Rock Slide
    -Swords Dance

    Nidoking (Adamant Nature)
    EVs: 252 Attack, 252 Speed, 6 Hp
    -Sludge Bomb
    -EQ
    -Shadow Ball
    -Mega Horn

    Tyranitar (no idea for nature...)
    EVs: 252 Attack, 252 Sp.Defense/Speed, 6 Hp
    -Dragon Dance/Taunt
    -Rock Slide
    -EQ
    -Crunch

    OR

    -Thunderbolt
    -Substitute
    -Crunch
    -Focus Punch

    I hope this helps!
