Ok. This is my pokemon team. I put alot of thought into what I want, but by no means will I refuse to change things.

    Electivire @ Expert Belt
    Naughty Nature
    EV: 252 Attack, 252 Speed
    ThunderPunch
    Ice Punch
    Brick Break
    Earthquake

My Idea for him is the typical Physical Sweeper. He is my lead because his set covers most types, close to all (thus the expert belt). I know that adamant nature is preferred with Electivire, but I bred him along time ago and have become very attatched to him.

    Lucario @ Life Orb
    Serious Nature
EV: 252 Special Attack 252 Speed
    Dark Pulse
    Dragon Pulse
    Psychic
    Aura Sphere

I was tired of breeding for the proper nature and settled for a neutral one. Lucario is going to be my special sweeper obviously, and I dont know if his set is proper. I think that its coverage and effectiveness is ok, but please let me know what you think. Life orb just seems to me to be the proper equipment but I'm confused about this also so any insight would be much appreciated.

    Dusknoir @ Leftovers
    Sassy Nature
EV: 252 HP, 132 Defense, 120 Special Defense
    Will-o-Wisp
    Ice Punch
    Shadow Sneak
    Pain Split

A Typical dusknoir, I dont have many qualms about this one. I would like to know if you think Thunder punch would be better over Ice Punch, but i have Ice right now because I dont have a dedicated dragon counter.

    Dragonite @ Persim Berry
    Adamant Nature
    EV: 252 Attack 252 Speed
    Stone Edge
    Roost
    Aqua Tail
    Outrage

I honestly dont like dragonite's moveset to much, because it has me relying on outrage to deal most of my heavy damage. I think he would be more effective if I could just decipher some moves that dont have me repeating to many types.

    Snorlax @ Leftovers
    Relaxed Nature
EV: 252 HP, 132 Special Defense, 120 Defense
    Rest
    Sleep Talk
    Body Slam
    Giga Impact

Snorlax is just meant to do some damage while forcing my opponent to take time and use PP. Giga impact is usually frowned upon, but its only use is as a sleep talking attack so my recharge turn isnt wasted. Body slam is how I plan to do most of my damage, and I think this set is fairly solid.

    Swampert @ Leftovers
    Sassy Nature
EV: 252 Attack, 252 Special Defense
    Hammer Arm
    Curse
    Waterfall
    Earthquake

Swampert is the star of my team. I know this spread could seem strange to some, but seeing as how the only major default he has is his crazy grass weakness, i raise his special defense to handle the grass type landing blows. Curse can really pump up his power, and if his speed is already majorly cut than the strength of hammer arm doesnt have any drawbacks. Waterfall for S.T.A.B.

Thanks in advance for any opinions you may have!

Your team is a bit too physical for my liking, you only have lucario capable of doingspecial damage.
More special defence EVs into Dusknoir, seeing as will-o-wisp halves the opponents attack stat.
Shell bell over leftovers on Swampert, yoi're going to be inflicting damage every turn and it heals twice as much as leftovers.
As annoying as it is (We've all been there), neutral natures are really a waste of potential. By taking a modest lucario, you can gain a 32 point boost to your special attack (IVs permitting) or timid would give a 27point speed boost. The effort is really work it.
So my suggestion would be to swap Dragonite for somethin a bit more special orientated, whatever you prefer. The rest looks solid though.

    How about SpecsMence?

    Salamence @ Choice Specs
    Modest Nature
    EVs: 252 Sp. Atk/252 Speed/6 HP

    - Draco Meteor
    - Dragon Pulse
    - Flamethrower
    - Hydro Pump/HP Ground

Draco Meteor kills just about anything that isn't Steel-type or named Blissey. Your choice whether you wanna Egg move-breed Hydro Pump or painstakingly breed for HP Ground. The rest is self-explanatory, really.

Well my friends and i have a deal where we cant use any pokemon that anyone else has, so salamence is out unfortunetely. Any other ideas? I was hoping for an Ice Type...

I knew I'd forgotten someone! I was thinkin of who two suggest but the name escaped me lol. Yeah Specsmence would work well.
EDIT: Ah, just seen your last post. Gimme 5 mins...

EDIT EDIT: Ok, this is the best i could come up with for an ice type special sweeper. You could use frosglass, but i dont rate it. Heres my idea:

    Jynx@Wide Lense
    Timid
    252SpAtt/252Spd/6HP
    Lovely Kiss
    Energy Ball
    Focus Blast
    Ice Beam

Its kind of like an icy gengar. Kiss them to sleep, other 3 moves are coverage. Wide lense brings Focus Blast and Kiss up hit rate of about 4 out of five, which isnt too bad. Otherwise I'd suggest a gengar, post in the request a moveset for the standard.

    Hope I could help :)

You do realize that a Pokemon can have up to 510 EVs, right?

    Dragonite @ Persim Berry
    Adamant Nature
    EV: 252 Attack 252 Speed
    Stone Edge
    Roost
    Aqua Tail
    Outrage
First of all, Persim Berry is quite the waste of an item. Dragonite's confusion can be easily taken away by a simple switch, which is a good thing. Sweepers will often switch out. Second of all, I don't understand why Dragon Dance isn't in there. With Dragon Dance, Dragonite can outrun many of the threats out there like some of the major sweepers on good prediction.

    Swampert @ Leftovers
    Sassy Nature
EV: 252 Attack, 252 Special Defense
    Hammer Arm
    Curse
    Waterfall
    Earthquake
On this team, I'd really consider Mixpert, seeing as you need some more Special oriented pokemon and moves.

    Snorlax @ Leftovers
    Relaxed Nature
EV: 252 HP, 132 Special Defense, 120 Defense
    Rest
    Sleep Talk
    Body Slam
    Giga Impact
Give it Impish nature so it can outrun those with the same speed stat [it doesn't matter much, but still...]
Giga Impact is still bad. First of all, ResTalking only gives you a 66.67% chance of attacking each turn, which isn't too reliable. I'd go for Curslax.

Another thing is that he had voth Giga Impact AND Body Slam. We all know that GI sucks, but at least give it some coverage or something.

Everybody always thinks so highly of curselax :( It is major failage this generation, it can't even wall special attackers. ResttalkLax is superior since it can take on much more of these special attackers with increased success, such as Azelf, who laughs at Curselax. Keep ResttalkLax...but ew, Giga Impact. Crunch or earthquake please.

    Snorlax @ Leftovers
    Relaxed Nature
EV: 252 HP, 132 Special Defense, 120 Defense
    Rest
    Sleep Talk
    Body Slam
    Giga Impact

As many other says, use the Curselax which is A LOT BETTER:
    Snorlax@Leftovers
    128 HP/44 Atk/120 Def/ 216 Sp.Def
    ~ Body Slam
    ~ Earthquake / Crunch / Fire Punch
    ~ Curse
    ~ Rest / Selfdestruct
It's a killer if u let it get pump...

I don't know much on Lax, in either Cusre or Lax. I have some problems facing Curselax, but Raichu's Focus Blast can handle that pretty easily. Which, in all honesty, isn't so good. I think Restlax is better at Sp.Walling. Which is what it is.

Exactly. Curselax is basically this (and I tried to use it this gen, I know how terrible it is):

    "Hya Azelf, come 2HKO me!

Sup Porygon Z! Take 90% of my health with a nasty plot Tri attack please!

What's shakin' Gengar? Why don't ya take 75% of my health with focus blast!

Sup CBtar! Without EQ I die to you and w/o crunch I die to your bro gengar!

Hey Zapdos! Wanna BUZZAP me with that life orb Thunderbolt of yours? Metal sound? Even better!"

^A lot of the above stuff ResttalkLax can actually take. Azelf gets destroyed, Gengar can only hurt it with specs Focus blast, and a switch to a ghost will fix that. It can actually survive Porygon-Z and has a shot at paralyzing it with body slam, which can amount to you not dying.

Curselax is also fail in the sense that Physical attackers can still come in (especially bulky ones that can take its attacks, even with a few curses) and then bombard snorlax with a powerful Choice Band attack, or can use it as a set-up fodder.

It's actually a shame at how Curselax is so bad now, especially for how it was near uber (<--exaggeration) in ADV.

As for your snorlax, resttalk is fine but lol Giga Impact. Also, needs near max SDef and also a LOT of HP, defense should be an afterthought. Body slam and EQ/Crunch for the last two slots. and use a careful nature please.

i would give your team about 8 if i where you i woud get a fire type and an icetype inthere to kill things against ur dragons

That doesn't help at all. Everything has a counter (except maybe Deoxys-A, but never mind that), you don't need to educate us on that.

And to continue to bug you all with my point, ResttalkLax >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Curselax, but yuck at Giga Impact.

And sims, ResttalkLax actually takes Focus blast like candy and OHKOs Raichu with Focus Blast (I know yours has focus sash, but in general...) It might have lost power at special walling, but what people forget is that it still does that very well.

What? What are you talking about? I said Curselax has problems. I didn't even post anything after you!

To be honest, Curselax gives me more issues. It's all about which is easier for the player.

Well, Anyways If I were you I won't put electivire as first, cause it's a loy better lure a T-bolt. The problem is that you haven't. The best way is with a Gyarados IMO.

Oh, I was only refering to your post about mentioning that your team has Curselax problems...I was basically trying to make a comparison of how much better a special wall Resttalk is than Curse, nothing more! I really need to reword my posts :0

I thogut YOU thought I said Restlax is worse.

I'm inconclusive on that. I love Snorlax, but never used it.

Really, it's all about what suits the team, and, most importantly, the player.

For instance, remember that Flygon discussion? I said Choice Scarf works better, when you said Band works better. However, while you admitted that Scarf may be better for me, Band works all-round. That's not entirely true. It's about which works better for both the player & the team. It's difficult to say "Restlax is ALWAYS better than Curse", as a player may have experience with Curse over Rest. With this particular example, I could be wrong, but you get my drift. Like with Flygon. You can't say "Band is overall better than Scarf" as I've shown, for my team, I need the speed.

However, many execptions are around. Like Slaking. Didn't you say that Band-king sucks with Fire Blast? That is always true. You even gave great examples. Swampert is best with Ice Beam over Avalance? Almost always true, since it will do more to dragons. But...what about a trainer with a Pert who has 31 IV's in all stats, but 0 in SP.ATK? I know, unlikely, but still.

As for Lax, the reason I have slight issues with Lax is because I usually do stupid things, or the Focus Blast misses (it WILL miss, but not so much for me). I don't like Restalk, but I hate Restalk on everything, so that's meaningless.

What would CBlax be? That's slightly new to me.
