Same in theory as my last rmt, but I made some changes that I would like to be rated.

    Snorlax (M) @ Choice Band
    Trait: Thick Fat
    EVs: 52 HP / 176 Atk / 136 Def / 144 SDef
    Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
    - Earthquake
    - Frustration
    - Selfdestruct
    - Shadow Ball

Originally CBMetagross was my starter, but I was really tired of having to switch it out on the first turn of every single battle, so I replaced it with this and changed it to CBLax. Trying out Selfdestruct to generally good results. I don't know a single thing about CBLax EVs, so help would be appreciated there.

    Tyranitar (M) @ Leftovers
    Trait: Sand Stream
    EVs: 124 HP / 24 Atk / 44 Def / 232 Spd / 84 SDef
    Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
    - Dragon Dance
    - Earthquake
    - Hidden Power {Rock}
    - Taunt

Don't know much about EVs for this either =/ I replaced my 'Gross with this. I lost a countless amount of battles due to Rock Slide missing, so I'll take the disadvantages of HP Rock.

    Forretress (M) @ Leftovers
    Trait: Sturdy
    EVs: 116 HP / 200 Atk / 192 Def
    Impish Nature (+Def, -SAtk)
    - Earthquake
    - Rapid Spin
    - Rest
    - Spikes

Wanted Spikes and Rapid Spin on the same set, thus this was born.

    Milotic (M) @ Leftovers
    Trait: Marvel Scale
    EVs: 184 HP / 212 Def / 56 SAtk / 56 SDef
    Bold Nature (+Def, -Atk)
    - Hypnosis
    - Ice Beam
    - Recover
    - Surf

Forgot to change the EVs back to standard, but I do use standard EVs.

    Zapdos @ Leftovers
    Trait: Pressure
    EVs: 132 HP / 8 Def / 128 Spd / 240 SAtk
    Modest Nature (+SAtk, -Atk)
    - Hidden Power {Grass}
    - Light Screen
    - Metal Sound
    - Thunderbolt

I <3 Metal Sound and these EVs

    Celebi @ Leftovers
    Trait: Natural Cure
    EVs: 240 HP / 148 Def / 84 SAtk / 36 SDef
    Bold Nature (+Def, -Atk)
    - Heal Bell
    - Leech Seed
    - Hidden Power {Grass}
    - Recover

Decided to try out 401 HP for this. My team doesn't take Dugtrio very well so I thought I'd try HP Grass, Psychic's PP annoys me anyway.

Pretty standard, except for CB Snorlax. I haven't seen many people taking advantage of its Selfdestruct lately, so kudos to you.

Forretress has way too much attack for just Earthquake. It only needs a couple of Attack EVs to always OKO Magneton. Go ahead and max out its HP, they're more important in the long run.

If you're not going give Rock Slide to DDtar, atleast give it way more Attack. In fact, just max it out. DDtar likes to hit stuff as hard as possible.

You lack a phazer and yes, they are important or else you'll have trouble with CMCune and any team with a couple of Baton Passers.
A Wish passer would also be nice. None of your Pokemon besides Forry likes Sandstream, especially not CBlax.
Consider Vaporeon over Milotic. Its massive HP makes up for its less than average Defense. Besides, it can Roar/Haze, Wishpass, and take care of Suicune at the same time.

Oh, and I'll also point out that CBCross gives most of this team problems as well. I haven't seen it much lately, but it does exist.

yeah, CBlax does work. I prefer Focus Punch or Fire Blast on this somewhere to dent Skarm on the switch, and perhaps you could always give Double-Edge a try over Frustration (yeah, recoil sucks w/o no lefties recovery, but you're going to blow it up eventually anyway, so it doesn't matter that much).

    Tyranitar (M) @ Leftovers
    Trait: Sand Stream
    EVs: 124 HP / 24 Atk / 44 Def / 232 Spd / 84 SDef

DDtar doesn't need that much speed. 176 will be enough to outrun those pokemons with 299-300-301ish speed after 1 DD. Also max out attack, then put 44 EVs in HP, and the rest in SDef.

    Forretress (M) @ Leftovers
    Trait: Sturdy
    EVs: 116 HP / 200 Atk / 192 Def
    Impish Nature (+Def, -SAtk)

like aragornbird said, you don't need that much atk with having only EQ. just max out hp and def imo.

    Milotic (M) @ Leftovers
    Trait: Marvel Scale

be sure to use max hp on this

    Zapdos @ Leftovers
    Trait: Pressure

    Modest Nature (+SAtk, -Atk)
    - Hidden Power {Grass}

    - Thunderbolt

light screen zapdos sucks, and it doesn't last more than for 3-4 turns w/o Rest. Since you have a beller, I recommend Rest over LS. Also needs way more HP and less SAtk.

    Celebi @ Leftovers
    Trait: Natural Cure
    EVs: 240 HP / 148 Def / 84 SAtk / 36 SDef
    Bold Nature (+Def, -Atk)
    - Heal Bell

You already have enough counters to physical attackers, so Calm and 148 SDef EVs or so would generally help it out more, to take on special attackers, who WILL take your team down, seeing as Snorlax lacks lefties and Rest to stop them.

    _._
Gengar could potentially be a problem; it will switch in on Forry, and then own the rest of your team, so better watch out for it.

You have no worry about charmbreon because in 1 DD you outrun it and it can't kill you.

    Forretress (M) @ Leftovers

Modest Nature (+SAtk, -Atk) Mild (SA+/DEF-)
    - Hidden Power {Grass}
    - Light Screen Drill Peck

Drill Peck will take out any annoying Heracross and Breloom, along with anything else Fighting/Bug/Grass.

I think this team needs a lock passer. Killing Dugtrio with Milotic would work if you had one. A lock passer would be like an Umbry with Mean Look and BP.

What is the point of changing the nature? The Explosion comment was pointless.

Cruch on DDtar is stupid. No one cares about Charmbreon, considering no one uses it but you.

DP Zappy is old, it might still work, but not if Hera is faster because with your EVs DP does OHKO, and Zappy doesn't need 252 Speed EVs only 18-20. No one uses Breloom anymore.

Drill Peck will take out any annoying Heracross and Breloom, along with anything else Fighting/Bug/Grass.

This the doesn't need a BPer.

Please stop posting or get better.

Anyway Paradise listen to Square on this one.

I do, I just prefer to use the better options of Taunt/Wish > Hidden Power. Of course, I'm an Umbreon lover/constant user/expert

Let's just say your team needs a "proper" sp. wall. Change that set and make something else as that CBset REALLY limits how much sp.attacks it can take. Light Screen helps but you don't have rest you are good as dead anyways. =\

I wiuld say starlax since your team is walled by skarmbliss. And btw, I like toxic on my milotic but meh.

Please just try my attacking Umbry instead of assuming it sucks. I have worked on this Umbreon through many NB battles and the HP Electric works. Sychronize you may have tried this but no one else has.
The reason for HP over Taunt is that many other taunters are faster.

It's just not a good idea. You use HP Electric for Tauntridos. Ok. One Pokemon countered, and even then it might still fail vs that Pokemon. Now you have to deal with phazers, which is initially what Taunt is for. You also have to deal with Tyranitar, which an Umbreon with standard speed EVs would just Taunt before it could Taunt and stop it cold with Charm afterwards. The only other guy I could think of that would actually be an effective Taunter faster than Umbreon is Gengar, of which Umbreon is barely gonna touch/make a difference anyway. You also have to deal with the fact that you have to pull SAtk EVs out of valuable HP, Def, and Spd EVs which makes an Umbreon more useful.

The point is that Umbreon is meant to trap-pass and screw teams over. Occassionally it can annoy, and it's a very good supporter. It doesn't have an effective ability to trap-pass AND counter its counters except versus nubs. That's why we have things like Zapdos and Donphan which do that job better, AND serve multiple other tasks.

This conclude's Umby's rant on the effectiveness of Umbreon with Hidden Power [Electric]. Autographed books sold in the front lobby, tapes sold separately by special order. Only Visa and Mastercard are acceptable.

Prove that we haven't tried it. Plus it doesn't even counter Tauntdos that well, it doesn't OHKO, and they can just switch it out why would they leave it in?

Taunt isn't to stop other Taunters it's for phazers, and CMers and other various stat-uppers.

I hate it when people say: "OMG IT'S NOT A COUNTER IT DOESN'T OHKO". Imo, counter means a thing that they are scared of and is forced to switch out.

I 'm not saying that umby is a counter. I was just pointing that out. =\

I never said that it had to OHKO, it's just not going to do anything to Gyara so it isn't a counter like you said.

What I meant is "Oh they can just switch out. It's not a counter," was incorrect. And I was talking about counters in general

It's main purpose is to stop phazers, what with it being the best trap-passer alive.

lol, every time elitefour protecter suggests charmbreon w/ HP:electric in every single rate an argument ALWAYS follows. There should be a thread made specifically for the charmbreon argument. (that was a joke, in case you can't tell...)

If you like Charmbreon with HP: Electric, fine. Just don't suggest it on every single team that you rate. If you think Charmbreon with HP: Electric is stupid and you see someone suggesting it, fine. Seriously, just live with it. Ignore the person if you think s/he's a noob, since everyone knows that changing a noob's mind is near impossible.

I was a n00b once. Someone convinced me that Umbreon with Taunt was useful, although I protested against for about a week. Heck, I got better and thought Umbreon with speed EVs was stupid, which I now treasure on Umby. And since this is a help forum, we can't go around letting people suggest things that aren't useful without proving them wrong and setting them straight. I mean, Dusclops with Ice Beam and Confuse Ray? Seriously.
