Yeah, I like to make a bunch of teams with one type as a theme for fun and see how they work out. This one actually managed to win me some battles over the wii. And btw, I refuse to use legends even though I know they would make this team work a lot better so dont suggest those.

    Empoleon @ Leftovers
    Torrent
    Calm
EVs: 252 Sp Def, 252 HP, 4 Sp Atk
    _________________________
    Surf
    Ice Beam
    Stealth Rock
    Grass Knot

Lead; Support/Special Wall; Serebii's creation and it works fairly decently.

    Starmie @ Petaya Berry
    Natural Cure
    Timid
EVs: 252 Sp Atk, 252 Spd, 4 Sp Def
    _________________________
    Surf
    Psychic
    Ice Beam
    Thunderbolt

    Special Sweeper. Self explanatory.

    Gyarados @ Salac berry
    Intimidate
    Adamant
EVs: 252 Atk, 252 Spd, 4 Sp Def
    _________________________
    Dragon Dance
    Earthquake
    Stone Edge
    Return

    Physical sweeper; again self explanatory.

    Vaporeon @ Leftovers
    Water Absorb
    Calm
EVs: 252 Hp, 176 Def, 82 Sp Def
    _________________________
    Surf
    Haze
    Toxic
    Wish

Hazer; Wish can be used to heal Gyarados or Starmie.

    Milotic @ Leftovers
    Marvel Scale
    Bold
EVs: 252 Def, 106 Sp Atk, 56 Sp Def, 12 Spd
    __________________________
    Surf
    Ice Beam
    Recover
    Hypnosis

Double Wall; Hypnosis over Mirror Coat cause sleep is easier to use than trying to predict a special attack now with the Special/Physical split.

    Swampert @ Chesto Berry
    Torrent
    Impish
EVs: 252 Sp Def, 176 Def, 82 Atk
    _________________________
    Curse
    Rest
    Earthquake
    Stone Edge

    Cursing Swampert. Again, self explanatory.

So there it is. Just wanted to see what everyone thought about this one. The closest I could get to a functioning, only water pokemon team. It was fun :)

    Gyarados

    - Waterfall
    - Earthquake
    - Taunt
    - Dragon Dance

    Starmie

    - Rapid Spin
    - Thunderbolt
    - Icebeam
    - Surf

    Swampert

    - Curse / Rest
    - Avalanche / Icebeam
    - Earthquake
    - Waterfall

Stick an Expert Belt/Life Orb/Choice Specs on Starmie, it won't live to activate the Petaya Berry without any HP EV investment.

lol, Expert Belt? It raises the Attack stat which will clearly have no effect and results in the waste of an item.

    Starmie has two possible movesets:

    Semi-Sweeper@Life Orb
    Trait: Natural Cure
    Nature: Timid
    EVs: 252 Special Attack / 252 Speed / 4 HP
    - Thunderbolt
    - Icebeam
    - Rapid Spin
    - Surf

    Full-Edged Sweeper@Choice Specs
    Trait: Natural Cure
    Nature: Timid
    EVs: 252 Special Attack / 252 Speed / 4 HP
    - Psychic / HP Ground
    - Thunderbolt
    - Icebeam
    - Surf

Starmie is fine with the special sweeper set and the Petyta Berry. It fit's well for a Bulky pokemon like Starmie.

Gyarados needs no Salac Berry. A Lum Berry would fit it best.

    Gyarados @ Lum Berry
    Intimidate
    Adamant
EVs: 252 Atk, 252 Spd, 4 Sp Def
    -Dragon Dance
    -Earthquake
    -Ice Fang
    -Taunt

Vaperon could use Protect instead of Toxic. Though I wonder if Toxic has been any use for you first.

Ive found it beneficial to give swampy protect to scout for grass knots which absolutly nail him

I would put Ludicolo over Empoleon. Give Ludicolo@WetRock/Leftovers: Leechseed/Surf/Icebeam/EnergyBall

Stealth rock give it to swampert. Cursepert this Gen isn't as useful anymore, even after chesto. While u snooze the second time, your opponent can throw in sword dances or nasty plots. Give
    Swampert: StealthRock/Earthquake/Waterfall/Avalanche or Stone Edge
As for grass moves, you should know who carries em and who doesn't.

And also, why make a water mono team when you have no rain dance at all in there? Rain dance is meant for water types. Abuse it.

Milotic also makes a good opener as it lures out something that has electric/grass attacks, of which it can use hypnosis and put it out of battle, giving your mono team an easier time.

What I find amusing about a Water team, especially one that carries Gyarados... is when you have Electivire on the team as well... No one truely expects it if they have only seen water types, so you get a free Motor Drive and then can proceed to sweep the opponent's team
